What a quaint little cottage overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We spent two nights (October 17th-18) in Room 2. There was plenty of space and the Kitchen was nice and full stocked. The Motel was booked full and we could barley hear the people in cabin #3. On Saturday night the weather was so nice they had a bonfire. This was... More

Have stayed there twice this year (2014) and trying to squeeze in another. Rooms are very cozy and well equipped. Having to deck right outside with amazing ocean view is one of the main reasons we love it there. Staff is extremely pleasant as well. Located short distance from shopping and the bay, but far enough that there traffic is... More

Classic 40's motor court, updated. Good view. Well-equipped kitchen, bathroom kind of cramped. We slept on the hide-a-bed in the living room so we could have the ocean view from in bed. Bedroom was fine, but dark and no view. Staff all very nice and helpful. Locally roasted coffee provided in room in generous amount! Nice deck for each unit.

A one night stay. Not too complciated to get there as I read in other reviews. The unit we were assigned was good, clean, had everything we needed for one night, cozy. Great views. However, the private access to the beach was a little complicated I want to say; the stairs did not seem safe to me, no handrails. The... More

We stayed here one night but wish we had stayed more. We arrived late and the room was heated up and ready for us. We pulled right into our own carport, which was awesome because it was pouring! The room was more like a little one bedroom apartment; with a living room, kitchen, and separate bedroom. It was nice to... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, this place is a little difficult to find as the entrance off the 101 is hidden. But once we found the place, we were impressed by its stunning view of Agate Beach and the space in the cottage we had (2 rooms, 2 baths). The 'hotel' is more of an old-style motel with individual cottages,... More

again a Plus Best Western. We must recommend that you should check for those. The price value relation is really worthwhile. And you have direct access to an amazing Oregonian Dune beach area. Rooms are very good, big indoor pool. But it is already a hotel. The front view seen from the beach reminds you on that

This property is a little hard to find...but once you do....hello Heaven!!! The cottages (yes, cottages, not rooms) are absolutely charming. They each have porches that face the ocean, a beautiful view at all times, and a full kitchen, bath, fireplace, and, well, it's a cottage not a room. The landscaping is beautiful, they offer a fire pit for fresh... More

My wife and I stayed at the Agate Beach Motel with another couple and their dog for 3 nights in early July. It's located at the northern end of Newport, right next to the road and within walking distance of the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. It's an easy and beautiful hike. The motel was a little hard to find at first,... More
