My family and I came to the beach for a one night getaway. There was rarely any motels that accept dog's and this was the first place that did so we stopped here. The only room left with two beds was a smoking room so with not much of a choice we stayed. The t.v here is small and old,... More

As of Aug 22, 2014 no one from the hotel, Econo Lodge, or Choice Hotels has responded to the following letter: I have to assume that they simply do not care about their guests, as as such do not deserve your business at any of their hotels. I originally booked a non-smoking room for the nights of August 9 and... More

We got the room we asked for. But since it is an older building, it was not designed for wheel chairs. Thanks goodness my friend could walk a few steps. we made it work. Staff was friendly & pleasant. Rooms was very clean and fresh. Price was about the same as every where else this time of year. All in... More

It was clean, but very very tiny and very old. There was a weak, almost non-existent, WI-FI connection and the staff didn't seem to care or try to help. When we called about the problem, the staff simply hung up without even acknowledging there was problem. The breakfast only had one table in the lobby with at least 20 visitors... More

I stayed at this hotel 4th of July 2014. I normally don't mind so much staying at small choice hotels because they normally meet some type of minium standards. This one looks like the owner is trying to make it better and nicer but is struggling to get it done. I would have Been nicer had I not spent $230... More

Stopped here at this hotel.. Tall large blond woman was in the office. The woman was hesitant about allowing a smoker in this hotel although the hotel is smoking..I guess it was a personal thing and just vindictive. Lady was going to give us a room and when told we smoked she hiked the price up and then told us that... More

My husband and I stayed at the econo lodge and the beds are comfy, the room size is good and we got a window looking toward the beach. The bad thing was there was no fresh continental breakfast. There were just stale bagles. I would recommend this motel to people who don't really care for luxurious stays and people that... More

I booked a stay for the following weekend, in February. I had paused in the middle and went back to complete booking, and I noticed that when it was done that it had reserved my stay for the current evening, which was totally wrong. I assumed that it was because I had paused in the middle, so I cancelled the... More

I chose Econolodge having stayed in several others that were great. This one is a disaster, and I am glad to make it out alive. Sort of harsh maybe, but when the lights blinked and went out in our room when we arrived, and we complained, we were moved to another room. It was like a comedy of errors. The... More

This place is scary. We had two rooms reserved for 6 people and 3 dogs. No access to electrical outlets which I need for a cpap machine. Moved mattress to find outlet. Lost power to clock and didn't even touch the plug. Lamps didn't work. Bathroom light went out and flickered for no reason. The other room lost power completely... More
