We have stayed at several Holiday Inns and this one at Newport was up to their usual standard. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, and was happy to advise us on local facilities. The room was good and the bed very comfortable. It is always reassuring to find a Holiday Inn.

The hotel was typical for Holiday inn Express--our usual hotel of choice. The hotel had housekeeping needs: we noticed dust in the foyer on the fireplace mantle. Our room's bathroom fan was covered with an excessive amount of dust. Everything else was fine. The staff was helpful for local directions.

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was welcoming & friendly. Since the hotel wasn't full & we were HI Priority Club members, he upgraded us to a fireplace suite on the top floor for no add't charge. Very typical Holiday Inn Express, always clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds but the pillow cases say soft or firm - that never seems to match up. Rooms are equipped with micro, refer, and coffee maker. Large flat screen TV and free WiFi.
