Don't bother unless there's nothing else around. No info. book in room with tv schedule to go along with old tv. No clock, no coffee pot, no ac, no pool, no working Vending machine, and no one in office after about 10 pm. Talk about all this remodel on the Web sight but walk into the room and step back... Excellent location for the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. Great hospitality and customer service. Great price for a King-Suite during a busy time for the location. The King-suite had a huge jaccuzi. Formerly was the Inn at Yaquina Bay, but is now the Motel 6. We had some difficulty finding the place due to the name change, but we found... More

If you're tired of camping in the rain, then this place will feel dry and comfortable. If you're used to hotels that have maintenance budgets and aren't mouldy, you may be disappointed. It served our purposes (we were tired and wet already), but the owners are clearly seeing how many more room nights they can grind out of the place... More

My first experience in Newport, OR. & spent 2 nights (too long) at this hotel. The hotel is 'way dated' & has NO AC!!! The toilet pipes leaked. Only Ice machine on 1st floor (what). The elevator was 'exceptionally slow (a full 30s after you hit the button), faster to walk down the stairs. Breakfast was pre-made coffee & a... More

We decided to stay here as a last option since it quickly appeared there was No Vacancy in Newport that night. Seemed like a good option since they weren't expensive as the nearby hotels and they're right next to Rogue so you can walk over and have some good beers. I greeted the older frazzled lady who was not all... More

Rooms were clean, close to Rouge River Brewery and science center. Front desk people were friendly. It has some serious repair needing to be done! Windows screen missing toilet flushs very slow, tv did not work properly, was told hot tub has not worked in a very long time, mattress were very worn-out! Vending machine were out of order! Continental... More

Was very pleased to find vacancy at this hotel and even more pleased at the price considering nearby options. Lady at desk was nice. Laundry rm was dirty, no service available after 9pm as desk lady leaves and we certainly needed service (toilet plugged up and we couldn't find a plunger or any help to get one, ended up going... The hotel was easy to find, and staff very pleasant & knowledgeable. Rooms large & comfortable. The prices are great in the off season (winter & early spring months.) The prices go up for summer fishing trips. Doughnut & coffee for breakfast was ok. Got a good nights sleep.

Our family stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a wonderful time. When we first booked our trip they were very accommodating with the fact we had to reschedule due to the weather not allowing us to go fishing. We had multiple rooms with our friends and Karen was more then happy to get our rooms as close... More
