Loved this place. Quiet, friendly staff and beautiful view of bird sanctuary. A beautiful short drive to Bandon. Nice coffee shop close by. I attended a friend's wedding and this location great because it was centrally located for me.

Even though this is the only motel in town, it is still immaculate. The beds are new; the carpet always freshly cleaned; the walls freshly painted. The towels were fluffy and plentiful. I stay here every year. You can drive 25 miles up the road to Coos Bay and a choice of many hotels/motels, but you will be paying more... More

The owners are older and have had this motel for 20+ years. The room was immaculate which was surprising but very nice!! We were on the second floor. I don't think it had any air conditioning but we just opened the windows and it cooled off very comfortably even though it was in the mid 80's during the day

A quiet cosy motel with clean, updated rooms. Location is quite nice overlooking some beautiful plains. Owner is friendly and let us borrow his hair dryer. Reasonably priced with free wifi, fridge and flatscreen TV. Rooms are spacious enough, note no stove though.

We enjoyed staying here for a few days and were happy with the clean, updated room and comfortable bed. We stayed on the second floor and when people walked past your room on the balcony if was pretty loud due to the type of flooring that is on the walkway but it didn't disturb us too much. We also had... More

We spent three nights here in June 2014. The staff was very friendly. The motel, as others have stated, is dated, but reflects the time before chains took over. The room was immaculate, the beds comfortable and the location is beautiful and relaxing. The town of Myrtle Point is within walking distance where we had an enjoyable time shopping and... More

After spending a few days on the coast and making our way back home, I checked Trip Advisor and found Myrtle Trees...so thankful I did! This motel, although somewhat dated, is quiet, clean, easy to find, allows small dogs for an additional $20 fee, and beautiful views!! There are picnic tables set up so you can sit out and enjoy... Friendly - not only does the man behind the desk bubble with personality and character, he meets you in the morning and pours you your coffee. Small, well maintained, place with those tiny extras that make you say, "ahhhh." Great, strong internet, plenty of close parking, good water pressure, cozy - conveniently located and the ice machine is right in... More

After a terrible experience in a Coos Bay motel we arrived late and very tired, and just a bit shell-shocked. But the proprietor was gracious and kind. The rooms are clean, and though the decor is very dated, the motel is very well cared for. The motel sits on a bluff high above a beautiful wetlands area and the cool... More

The view at the Myrtle Trees Motel provided much needed solace during a difficult time for our family. Traveling from California to be with a loved one during his last days, we stayed at the Myrtle Trees for 4 nights. The marsh, teeming with wildlife – herons, ducks, raptors, and frogs (you can’t miss the nightly bullfrog symphony) – got... More
