We enjoyed staying here for a few days and were happy with the clean, updated room and comfortable bed. We stayed on the second floor and when people walked past your room on the balcony if was pretty loud due to the type of flooring that is on the walkway but it didn't disturb us too much. We also had... More

We spent three nights here in June 2014. The staff was very friendly. The motel, as others have stated, is dated, but reflects the time before chains took over. The room was immaculate, the beds comfortable and the location is beautiful and relaxing. The town of Myrtle Point is within walking distance where we had an enjoyable time shopping and... More

After spending a few days on the coast and making our way back home, I checked Trip Advisor and found Myrtle Trees...so thankful I did! This motel, although somewhat dated, is quiet, clean, easy to find, allows small dogs for an additional $20 fee, and beautiful views!! There are picnic tables set up so you can sit out and enjoy... Friendly - not only does the man behind the desk bubble with personality and character, he meets you in the morning and pours you your coffee. Small, well maintained, place with those tiny extras that make you say, "ahhhh." Great, strong internet, plenty of close parking, good water pressure, cozy - conveniently located and the ice machine is right in... More

After a terrible experience in a Coos Bay motel we arrived late and very tired, and just a bit shell-shocked. But the proprietor was gracious and kind. The rooms are clean, and though the decor is very dated, the motel is very well cared for. The motel sits on a bluff high above a beautiful wetlands area and the cool... More

The view at the Myrtle Trees Motel provided much needed solace during a difficult time for our family. Traveling from California to be with a loved one during his last days, we stayed at the Myrtle Trees for 4 nights. The marsh, teeming with wildlife – herons, ducks, raptors, and frogs (you can’t miss the nightly bullfrog symphony) – got... More

We spent several unseasonably sunny days in Myrtle Point this spring. We stayed at the Myrtle Trees and were definitely treated like welcome guests! The owner and family greeted us by name, extended our stay without an issue, made sure the coffeepot in the lobby was full and ready to go even real early in the morning. As the only... More

What better way to start or end your day than taking time for reflection while gazing at a beautiful lake natural area with green forested hills in the background--your view from the quiet rooms and grounds at Myrtle Trees. Room was spotless and inviting with a flat screen TV, microwave & refrig. Rooms are newly redecorated, according to the motel... More

This motel is 50's/60's vintage, but the owner keeps it very clean. The beds we very adequate but not plush. Linens very clean, bathroom and carpets well kept and clean. WIFI worked well and a very good selection of TV channels. I was there for 5 nights and would stay again although at almost $80/night for a two bed unit... More

The view from this motel is just what the motel web-site showes it to be. The managers are very friendly and accommodating, they try to make you feel at home. I found the motel to be kept very clean. Room facilities are basic: bed, shower, toilet, microwave, t.v. and a small table. As mentioned all kept clean. But there is... More
