Stayed here a couple of years ago and was impressed. I'm not a big fan of Econo Lodge for the most part, but this property is considerably better than just about any other Econo Lodge. The owners are the same as the last time we stayed and they obviously are proud of their property. We had a huge 2 queen... More

I make a visit to Portland annually. I could not find any decent place in Portland, not even in the PDX area that was worth the price. I decided to look south at Milwaukie and came across Econo Lodge Southeast. Found a Priceline Express deal here for under $60 a night. It was easy to figure out this was the... More

This was our second stay here and both times have been great. The front desk service is not great and communication can be a little hard due to some thick accents, but everything else is awesome. Insanely great value. Around $60 for a huge room, free breakfast and WiFi and a really nice pool and hot tub. You can tell... More

The good - great service from the front desk, we arrived at 3:30 am (yes am) and he provided directions by phone and was very courteous when we finally arrived. The rooms were big and clean, and the carpets looked relatively new. The beds were comfortable. The ok - cabinets and fixtures were a bit dated, and a bit on... More

We reserved three double queen non smoking rooms at getaroom.com, but when we arrived we were give two king smoking (incredibly bad smell) rooms and one as we reserved. When we spoke to the desk clerk, he was very condescending and blamed us for reserving the "wrong" rooms.and refused to help us out. We were unable to stay in the... More

Dear Joseph M As your reservation was booked through getaroom.com, all refunds must come from them. The hotel did not take your booking or charge you for your reservations, this was done by getaroom.com. We confirmed with Heather at getaroom.com that indeed smoking rooms were booked by you (please look at your reservation confirmation and the terms and conditions you... More

For an EconoLodge, this one is pretty good. Upsides: Room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi worked well. Good pillows, a big plus for a budget motel. Fridge & microwave. Beds comfortable. Lots of TV channels. Downsides: small, crappy towels, but you get that at every budget motel. Limited parking space, fills up quick then you have to park... More

I chose to stay at this particular hotel because of the location being close to family, and the price was fair. It has a pool, and provides a very limited breakfast in the morning. It said continental breakfast, but there was really only pastries and coffee/OJ, so we ended up eating elsewhere. The smoking rooms reek of cigarettes, so if... More

This was home base for three days as we did the Columbia Gorge and Mt Hood. Could have stayed in Gresham and Troutdale but decided here. Value was great. Room 226 was extra quiet. Room clean and M approved. Hot tub was much appreciated however you needed to walk outside to get to it. Wished they had a waffle maker.... More

This motel is fairly new. Some nearby properties were old when I lived in this neighborhood as a child fifty years ago. The manager graciously upgraded me to a ground floor suite so I wouldn't have to carry heavy gear up the stairs. I have business in Clackamas County and plan to return to this motel annually.

For a family on a budget trip to Portland Oregon, this was a good choice. We felt safe in the neighborhood and liked that the staff was warm and friendly(family run). Having a fridge and microwave helped us save on our food budget and the location to Portland Downtown and Clackamas was excellent. Milwaukie is a city that is in... More
