We ended up at the Red Lion Hotel through a Hotwire reservation. After having stayed in Red Lions before, with very comfortable accommodations, this place left us disappointed. Downtown Medford, where the hotel is located, is a sketchy area filled with used-car lots, liquor stores, pawn shops and spooky older motels. The Red Lion is certainly much nicer than any... more

the first night, the door to room had missing weather strip, and 1.5 inches open under door, big enough for a rat. Sheets were clean and soft, bed is plush, which is important. wi-fi slowwwww. no bad smell. 2nd night (return trip) door had broken edge of lock and a hole big enough to see through. I had had enough,... more

I ordered a steak and mashed potatoes meal for almost $24 and was extremely disappointed. The potatoes were advertised as sounding "real". They were fake and the steak quality was poor. Lots of fat and gristle. more

Arriving with my 86 year old mother going back north for the summer, I was told I had to pay extra for a room with two beds even though I had a reserved a room for two persons "that's our policy". The location of the hotel is a bit depressing, it's in a gulley next to the road and it's... more

I stayed here on my way to California. I chose it because they have a good pet policy (pets welcome) and I had my 2 cats with me. My general impression is that the hotel (motel actually) was slightly dated, but clean and well maintained. Yes it is near the I5. In fact my room was one of the closer... more

From Google reviews I was concerned about this location. I was happy to find a recently renovated very nice room. Very good bed, Great bathroom, new carpets and wallpaper. Solid 3* hotel. Ask for a quiet room away from I-5 (I did and it was just fine). more

The first problem encountered before check in. When we pulled into the lot it looked like a slotter house. The entry door was so dirty that you could not even see through the window. We opened the entry door (which felt like it was going to break off). All of a sudden, it smelled terrible of smoke and rum. Believe... more

Fairly typical small town car motel but my room was about 20 yards from I-5, which is particularly strange because the hotel isn't directly off the freeway exit (mile plus drive from the exit). I'm generally not affected by noise but the non-stop semi-trucks made it really tough to sleep. My rate was $120, which seems steep for a car... more

We tried this Motel after a recommendation from the local Chamber of Commerce.(It was one of 2 places that had pillowtop beds.) We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms really clean, the bed Very comfortable and the pool area nice and clean also. The continental breakfast was basic - yogurt, juices, cereals, muffins, breads and some fruits but it was available in... more

My husband and I just stayed two nights here and for the price we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel was almost full. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, Porter's, 38 On Central and Elements Tapas Bar so no need to drive if you don't want to. All in all... more
