Based on AAA 2-star reco, we arrived late when everything else in Medford was fully booked. Now we know why there were rooms still available. Carpet was filthy. 3 light bulbs burned out. I stayed at the Medford Inn (a two diamond AAA rated motel) on 8/16/06. The price was only $70 but the bathroom sink had hair stubble in it from someone who had emptied their electric razor in the sink along with some other grime (housekeeping had not cleaned the sink at all). Was really refreshing to have a friendly staff take care of my needs. I have a bad back and was able to stay in there Jacuzzi suite. It was very clean and I had a very relaxing stay. The chocolates at the front desk were very good and the coffee was excellent. I will definitely be coming back next summer.... more
