This place confounds me to no end. It is located in what could arguably be called one of the nation's greatest wine country areas with very few choices of lodging. I guess that's why they don't even try. EVERY aspect of this place was sub-par AT BEST. The rooms are large and there is plenty of parking, but beyond that,... more

Reserved a non-smoking room. After 4 rooms all were heavy with smoke. Decided not to stay and manager became angry and would not refund deposit. more

I stayed at the Safari Motor Inn recently to see some things have changed, and not for the better. The owner is now running the show, and he sure had an attitude with everyone in front of me. It use to be run by a great motel team, a husband and wife. They took so much care for the motel,... more

The service was average regarding the lady that checked us in to the man we dealt with when we checked out the next morning. The room was huge and clean. Heater worked great. The room are quite a ways from the highway and was very quiet. Two sinks and plenty of counter space...a nice plus. Comfortable bed. Tons of parking...biggest... more

My wife and I went to visit our new grandson and chose the Safari Inn because it was very close to our sons' house. The room was the last one available at the Inn since it was graduation weekend (which our son failed to inform us about ahead of time). We opened the door and were greeted with a strange... more

This was the WORST place I have ever stayed. It came complete with ants crawling on my bed and night stand when I woke up to roaches in the bathroom. I got no rest due to a barking dog. My car when have been better. To top it off, my room just really stunk, like it hadn't been cleaned in... more

Everything started off okay during our stay, however at three o'clock in the morning, the front desk staff assigned our room to new incoming guests, and gave them keys to the already occupied room. Needless to say, it's a pretty rude awakening to have strangers come into your room at 3am! All that was lost was our sense of security,... more

This hotel has huge rooms, a really huge parking lot, and a pretty convenient location. But the service ruins the whole thing. I have stayed there twice. The last time they made a mistake in booking my room - gave me one bed instead of the two I booked. They would not do anything about it, even after I showed... more

I have stayed at the Safari on 3 different occasions over the past 2 years but only because the better hotels (Best Western and Hotel Oregon) were booked. Every time I've stayed there the people at the front desk seem less then happy. My refrigerator always worked but the ice machine was broken on my last visit. So was the... more

My husband and I were traveling for 14 hours and desperatly needed a night off the road and in a bed. We found this hotel, it looked quaint and quiet, just what we needed. We got a room for the night and when we got to the room, we noticed the refrigerator did not work, the bed was not made,... more
