Stopped in for breakfast. The menu has great diversity and some very tasty breakfasts. We explored the hotel but we did not stay the night. We were just driving through otherwise we would have liked to stay and experience all that this place has to offer. We will be back.

We found this charming hotel at the last minute while we were planning a girls weekend. I'd never heard of a McMenamins before this one, but later learned they are chain that purchases older hotels and restores them - this one happened to be the old Hotel Oregon. The "boutique-ness" of this old hotel is quite charming and I'm sure... More

Nearly all the rooms in this hotel have a 'shared bath'. I thought this meant own loo, own sink, shared shower between two rooms. But what it actually means is that your bedroom has a sink and there are two large shared bathrooms on each floor, one for men, one for women, with two showers and three loos. So, if... More

Met friends for dinner there. The food was average and craft beer & wine selection was lacking. Food was average at best. About the best feature was the roof top bar/dining that you could enjoy the sunset & Blue Moon night. However, you were among the smoke stacks/outlets. The seating was limited. I had the grilled fish tacos but came... More

Dear Reddog- I am sorry your recent stay at Hotel Oregon was not what you had expected. The rooftop is the best view from any downtown area location in the area. I do apologize that your server did not know that we do have a corn tortilla option for our fish tacos. I appreciate your feedback and will cover this... More

Group trip of hikers/wine tasters. The hotel for all was clean, a bit cozier than other locations. The restroom set-up for shared was great for all - open sinks and private shower stalls. (Sinks in each room, too.) We all enjoyed a late evening stop at the rooftop bar for drinks and eats. Customer service by most staff was good... More

I had been here a few times before to visit the rooftop bar, which is great. This time we decided to stay over on a motor trip from Portland. It was a blazing hot day, and the rooftop bar was out of the question. The cellar bar was closed! So we had a birthday dinner for 4 in the main... More

Tom- I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay here at Hotel Oregon. Our hotels are quirky and not the perfect fit for everyone. We do appreciate your feedback and hope that you continue to come out and enjoy our roof top bar. Cheers- Dani Chisholm Hotel Oregon Property Manager More

We stayed in Nick's Room on the fourth floor, which shared a bathroom with another couple. This might have been a little more weird if the other couple wasn't our friends. There are room options where you do not share shower/toilet. Cold AC, great shower pressure and cute furniture. The bed moved a lot. I'm a heavy sleeper but I... More

We are here for one night to see the drum and bugle corps perform in McMinnville Oregon. We are frequent guest of the McMenamin's hotels throughout Oregon and Washington. This is our first time to hotel Oregon. It is a beautiful hotel restored in the McMenamin's tradition which is to say it is really beautiful and historic. Our room and... More

The Hotel Oregon in McMinnville is a fascinating historic building. I loved the artwork and history throughout. The restaurant is beautiful, and the rooftop is fun. Parking is easy at a free public ramp one block away. We stayed there to explore the wine country and it turned out to be a good location. The pipes can be loud at... More

Three girlfriends and I had reservations at two tasting rooms in Dundee and Dayton. We traveled toward Mcminnville and ended at the Hotel Oregon. We literally took the last two rooms here. We had two rooms side by side on the fourth floor, European Style. Everything was SO clean. The rooms are small, but adaquate. The large windows made it... More
