We had a lovely time at the Cedarwood; beautiful setting and comfortable accommodations. Not chic and modern, but a perfect little cabin next to the McKenzie river. We stayed three nights and enjoyed exploring some of the beautiful natural wonders close by.

We have been going to Cedarwood for many years and find it just as delightful now as ever. Our lodging is immaculate and comfortable and Mike and Caroline do everything to make their guests feel at home. We'll just keep going back until we're too old to vacation! Hopefully, never. We usually cook in in the wonderfully equipped kitchen;; but... More

This time we had 2 cabins, one for us and one for the oldest daughter, her husband and 2 kids for a wonderful 4 night stay. Our love affair with this place never fades. The cleanliness and thoughtful furnishings of the cabins are still (always) exceptional and the peace and tranquility of the surroundings never fail to refresh both body... More

We made a big mistake in only booking three nights. Our stay was heavenly and now every other place we're staying does not measure up. Cedarwood Lodge is exceptional! The management is so thoughtful - they remembered that I read the newspaper and provided one each day.

My husband and I were riding our motorcycles through Mckenzie Bridge and it was getting late in the day...we noticed a vacancy sign on the Cedarwood and went to check it out. What a treat! This was an amazing little gem and we felt very lucky to have been able to spend a night here. I have never seen cabins... More

I just returned from vacationing here for the 16th year in a row. It is the most beautiful and tranquil place you can imagine. My husband and I discovered Cedarwood Lodge in 1998. It was so perfect. At that time we lived in a beautiful house on a river but nothing can be as quint and tranquil as these cabins... More

The River. The trees. The clean air. The peace. The beautiful cabins so scrupulously maintained. The fragrances of Pine and Cedar wafting through the open windows, playing on the sounds of the river hitting the rocks. The cheerful, helpful hosts, Mike and Carolyn attending to our every need. Our shoulders came down four inches, at least, our hearts slowed to... More

Cozy rustic cottages with wonderful decks overlooking the river. A wonderful spot to relax, BBQ and take in the beautiful view after a good day of hiking and/or rafting. Quiet and relaxing with just the sound of the river. I didn't want to leave.

I am hesitant to write too many raves about Cedarwood Lodge because I selfishly want it to not become too popular! It is the cleanest and most peaceful place to stay if you want a semi-rustic environment. The river is so beautiful and lulls you to sleep. It is nestled in the trees right on the river. It is heaven!... More

We stayed here for my Dad's 80th birthday in Sept 2013. We are going back this summer to stay again. The owners are a friendly as they come. The cabins are well equipped, clean and right on the McKenzie River. If you are ready to decompress this is the place to stay!
