We stayed a few nights in the Imperial Suite at Imperial River Co. while visiting family in Maupin, OR last week. What a wonderful lodge with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. Full kitchen, nice space to hang out and enjoy each others company, and I can't forget to mention the Jacuzzi hot tub in the bathroom! I... More

Great place to stay while winter fly fishing on the Deschutes. Good rates, great food, and the people working there are fantastic! Ate in the bar and watched the game. Be sure to try the chicken Marsala. YUM! Warm bread loaf too. The only problem was the tub backed up a little in the shower. We stayed in the Birdwatching... More

We met some very dear friends for a New Years celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better time. The staff was very friendly, new years eve dinner was terrific. If you want a truly laid back couple days, this is the place to go. We also booked a week-end of rafting in the summer, and the location, staff and... More

Everything about our stay at Imperial River was well beyond satisfactory. The rooms, the dinning room, breakfast and the service were wholly enjoyable. Great place. We'll definitely come again in relation to events at the Imperial Stock Ranch.

Very friendly, reasonably priced place with great rooms and views. Ideal for a retreat from urban/suburban life and close access to rafting and fishing. Accessible any time of year. Food is outstanding as well. This is less that 2 hours from our home in the south Portland area. If snow is an issue, it is almost as quick to drive... More

The Imperial is a wonderful rustic lodging along the Deschutes River in Maupin--and is by far the nicest place to stay in this area. The rooms are well maintained and the service is friendly and efficient. The one thing to keep in mind about this area is that is a mecca for two things: rafting and fishing. During the summer... The grounds are beautiful! Unfortunately, out of the three rooms we reserved, only one had a river view and the queen bed in one of the rooms was very uncomfortable. The staff, with the exception of Kelsey in the dining room, was less than friendly. We very much felt like a burden to the woman at the front desk when... More

The min. I checked in, I noticed my bill was wrong. I ask the lady why my room was 50.00 more then they had told me on the phone. She said she couldn't do anything about the price and i needed to speak to the owner. I ask when he would be available. She said they have NO idea when... More

I felt we should have been given a full refund for the first night. I stayed here thinking I would get a good night's sleep in order to tackle the next day of rafting with my family. Instead, I was up til midnight calling the only number I had to complain about the loud drunk people around the campfire. Was... More

We stayed 2 nights in the lodge and did the 45 Mile river trip with fabulous overnight camp I the "Olive Grove" where we hiked up to caves and found geodes. Lodge was clean, room large and good food. Andy was our main rafting guide and he was terrific, we loved the Class 4 rapids and surfing in "Surf City."... More
