Nestled along the Deschuttes River this family owned establishment offers a picturesque view with lots to do. If you like hunting, fishing, rafting this is the place. If you'd rather hang out along the shore there are nice benches to sit and enjoy the view. Having some family staff make you feel right at home because they treat it like... More

We come from the valley and our husbands pheasant hunt for a day and we relax! The rooms are clean, the staff is awesome and friendly and the whole stay is wonderful. The food is excellent and sitting around the fire pit after a relaxing day of fun and exploring is perfect. We come over in March so there's not... More

We arrived at 6:00 pm and never had to leave the premises because everything is right there for you. Dinner and bar onsite with great food and service, our dog was welcome like a human guest, breakfast in the morning. Firepit in the back, river ad wonderful grounds to walk around. We will be back :).

We did not stay at this hotel but we did have breakfast at D' Maries Coffee Cabin located in the yard of the Imperial under the bridge and absolutely LOVED the view, food, coffee and not to mention the owner/operator was so friendly and helpful about the area. Would definitely go here again.

This is a great place to stay. The view is exceptional. Great fire pit to sit and relax after a day of fishing. A TV would have been nice but not a deal breaker. A lot of historic pictures in the rooms. The food was exceptional and service could not have been better. I will definitely be back again.

This trip we had the whole family and another couple with us. We come to Maupin quite often to fish, and when we are not camping, we always stay at the Imperial. We like the atmosphere, food, rooms and the staff. This time, however, being the first person a customer comes in contact with, and having to deal with this... More

We recently stayed at the Imperial for our managment retreat. This is not the first, nor will it be the last time we stay at the property. The staff is friendly, and outgoing. The restaurant has great food and drinks. They have an awesome firepit, to hang out around. And being right on the river is a beautiful way to... More

Would prefer a private deck, not shared with neighbor. TV would be nice. Flies were bad; need to fix the screen door so it closes tightly. But overall, enjoyed very much. Loved the yard and location. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Imperial River to anyone going to Maupin.

Driving through Maupin on a Central Oregon road trip we spotted the Imperial River Co. lodge as we crossed the bridge over the Deschutes. Decided to check it out as a place to stay that night. It is unique. We chose a ground level double queen room. Not nearly as nice as the double queen at The Dalles Comfort Inn... More

I stayed at the Imperial River Company the first week of September and enjoyed every minute of my stay. If you enjoy the great outdoors (rafting, fishing, hiking, bicycling, wild life, beautiful scenery, and more) Maupin, Oregon is the place to visit and the Imperial River Company is the place to stay. The owners (Rob and Susie) are the nicest... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Imperial River Company isn’t just a place; it is a state of mind. And our motto proves it.…Actively relaxing on the banks of the Deschutes River. Whether you have come out for the whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting, hiking, cycling, scenery, or to just get away from the big city for a weekend of relaxation and sun (we average 300 days of sun a year), Imperial River Company can more than help. Nestled directly on the banks of the Deschutes River, we are ideally situated to provide you with a relaxing environment and scenic views of the river with over 1/4 mile of river frontage. While we may be known for our beautiful lodge, scrumptious food, professionally guided whitewater rafting trips, and pheasant and chukar hunting adventures, we strive to provide more. Excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere make your stay with us that much more enjoyable. Look no further than our open-flame fire pit in our courtyard during the evenings where our guests relax and talk of the day’s successes. Come out and enjoy the best that Central Oregon has to offer. ... more   less
