After another motel down the road lost my reservations, I was lucky enough to snag a room here when everything else was full. The owner, Brian, was very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable with all my confirmation numbers. When we arrived, it was raining, but we were able to check in a bit early - a godsend when... More

Great for dogs because they love them there. It's situated about 3-4 blocks from a great, off-leash beach. However, the rooms are fairly plain are walls are thin. They offer a nice selection of free Videos and DVD, as well as board games. Small refrigerator and microwave are handy for breakfasts or lunches in the room.

We have been staying at San Dune Inn for nearly 10 years. We visit the place at least a few times a year and we've brought some friends and family with us. Our dogs love the place and they probably think it is our beach house. Brian is very kind and nice, and he always welcome us with a warm... More

We were camping at Nehalem, which we have done for years, and finally reached our fill of dirt, cold, constant smoke in the air and noisy neighbors. My friend stayed here the prior week and I got the name and address from her (thanks Lucile!) There were 3 of us and two dogs. We were a stones throw from Main... More

This place had pretty decent ratings and I am still trying to figure it out. It is average at best- The proprietor though friendly enough was a bit eccentric. The rooms were very basic and the pretty cheap feeling. It was clean but towels were on the thin side. Wifi was like dial up. I would give it a 2.5... More

The pictures accompanying the descriptions of this place do not do it justice. It is very cute, and beachy. Dog and family friendly. Brian, the proprietor,is British and quite a character. There are bikes guests can use as well as all sorts of beach stuff. The funky lobby was filled with books you can borrow and I left one there for the collections. I... More

We have been staying at the Spin Drift for years as that is just the first place we stayed and always like it, but this year they were full so we settled on this place and when I mean settled on I mean before we got there I had no idea where it was and thought would be really far... More

We stayed at the San Dune Aug 2-5. We stay here at least once each summer. It is an older hotel, but is kept clean. If you want luxury, stay somewhere else and pay a lot more. If you want comfort at a reasonable price, stay at the San Dune. The kitchens are not fancy, but get the job done.... More

What a great little hotel! I'll stay here again. Brian, the owner, was most pleasant and accommodating. The room was simple but very clean. The bed was amazing! (memory foam) Refer, microwave in room. This is my new favorite place to stay in Manzanita!

My wife and I stayed here while traveling across country by bicycle. The rooms are very comfortable, the price is great, and the owner was very very helpful. He even offered to do our laundry for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
