Nice place, well put together, great location. The staff really is very nice and I enjoyed my stay here. I would suggest that you book directly with the hotel as some of these hotel websites charge some ridiculous fees. (this one, easytobook, was pretty reasonable).

my boyfriend and I stayed for a night over spring break. Everything was clean and organized, and ready for our evening! A block away from the beach, great location, adorable rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly. (we happened to love the charm) And hopefully we will be back soon!

I stayed here for one night last summer. It is an old fashioned beachside inn that is extremely well located but an old property. The inn keepers were very nice, and the rooms clean, but well, a bit old. That being said, for the price and location, it was valued well.

Not the newest or most fashionable place in cute and ritzy Manzanita, but everything fit well for my wife and me. Our dog was welcomed (no extra charge) with his special towel, bowl, and snack. The our lodgings with a kitchenette and separate bedroom were clean, warm (cool and clear weather in January!), and cozy with all the amenities we... More

I took a 2 day solo vacation with my dog this time and stayed in a cute room with a queen bed, a big couch, and a kitchenette. It was perfect for both of our needs, and they gave me a great deal as a returning guest. They are currently in the process of replacing the siding on the motel,... More

This place is clean and very functional. The staff is friendly, it has a cute inner courtyard and is a block walk from the beach. Next door is a coffee and pastry shop. What more could anyone want. It is not dripping in luxury so if that is what you want, look elsewhere, but it is a perfect bungalow for... More

Great location and a friendly front desk staff. We got in really late on a Friday and they kindly left us a lockbox to get into our room. Equipped with a doggy goodie bag we were all set to go. It was a clean room with everything we needed. We will be back!

Very clean and accommodating. A towel, blanket, and dish were provided for our little dog. The weather was not pleasant enough for us to enjoy the inner garden but it was easy to tell that it would be lovely place to sit on a warm day. Lots of flowers. They were just getting ready to replace the siding so the... More

We enjoyed our stay. This is a humble little place. I'd say recently remodeled. Very clean and comfortable. It didn't have a kitchenette, which is something we like. But all in all a very good value. The thing that stands out is how nice the staff was. We had to change[shorten] our plans and they were very accommmodating and gracious... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Lovely, quaint, great rooms, inexpensive, a great location, and the people are friendly ... that’s how our guests describe Spindrift Inn. This cozy 14 room cottage-style rural inn is just a block from a 7 mile beach in Manzanita, on Oregon’s gorgeous North Coast. Mountains meet the sea, surrounded by two State Parks, forests and the Pacific Ocean. In our inn you will find no smoking, pillowtop beds, some suites, some kitchenettes, and some pet-friendly rooms (call ahead to be sure). Off the highway, Manzanita’s small commercial district is nestled among cabins and cottages - perfect to park and walkabout. There are shops with trendy clothing, natural food, and several restaurants serving fish en papillote to authentic Mexican. And the connection with Nature is superb ... you can re-fresh, rejuvenate and be re-inspired when you return home. Or stay forever (we did). Come visit us ... then you may say: "Spindrift Inn might not have a lot of street appeal, but thankfully the rooms, cleanliness, staff, location and price were all wonderful. We’ll definitely be back again." Owned and operated by local families since 1946. ... more   less
