We went for a couple days because I had a Groupon, and it was cheap. We didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. It's a cute little single story motel built around a courtyard. The rooms are so sweetly decorated, it's like a little bit of country living. Bob, at the front desk, was very gracious and I fell... More

It's always good to be pleasantly surprised -- we're glad we surpassed your expectations! I really enjoy making sure that people get the most out of their stay, and if sharing my dog Gucci added to your visit, so much the better! He gets a kick out of all of the attention he gets from our guests. Although your room... More

We spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. While the property is older, it was very, very clean and neat. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The refrigerator was larger than some motel and we really appreciated that. Parking was nice--we parked right outside our door. The motel also offered a fairly large library of DVDs. The... More

If you are staying in Manzanita instead of Lincoln City or Cannon Beach for your trip to the Oregon Coast, it probably means that you want a quiet, low key, affordable vacation. The Spindrift Inn is the perfect place for you if this is the case. We wanted somewhere close to the beach that wasn't going to max out our... More

Just a block from the spectacular Manzanita Beach it has the perfect location. It is close to Marzano's pizza and other restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the little inner court yard. The price is affordable and it just has a lot of unique character to it. A great place to stay to escape from stress.... This little inn is such a unique and affordable option when visiting the Oregon coast. The rooms are clean and bright, with an added bonus of thoughtful, and personalized attention from the wonderful inn-keeper, Bob. All the rooms have a little refrigerator and microwave, flat-screen tv and coffee pot. The pet-friendly rooms provide a welcome basket with, a towel, food... More

This is such a nice, beachy, cozy place. Our room was updated because it wasn't full. It was perfect and very comfortable and very clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. The ONLY downside is that there is no beach view, but it's only a block from the beach so not that big a deal. It is also very affordable.... More

We have gone to the Spindrift Inn many times over the years. We have always been satisfied and this last visit was no different. When we arrived, we were met by Bob. He quickly checked us in and told us what was available at the Spindrift - nothing fancy, but useful things like ice and DVDs. He also had a... More

Our room was clean and quiet and comfortable. Great resturant next door. Bob, the inn-keeper treated us great. If you want to know where the locals go--ask him! Great advice. We enjoyed the local history lecture we went to--if available don't miss it!

Spindrift is a little older motel in laid back Manzanita, but close to Cannon Beach. The host, Bob, was marvelous and service makes up for a lot in my opinion. There is a pub across the street and little grocery store just up the street and, oh yeah, a beautiful beach just down the street not so packed with people.... More

Thanks Ricky_Dee for your kind words. As a senior reviewer, your “perfect getaway” makes us smile! We are pleased to have Bob as our new innkeeper. He brings great business experience, is sensitive to guest needs and helps them find that extra “plus”. Built in 1946 by a local gent confined to a wheelchair, our little Spindrift Inn will be... We stayed at the Spindrift Inn the first week of Ocober, 2014. The new proprietor, Bob, was so helpful. He mentioned that the salmon were running in the Nehala River and directed us to a spot to watch. He was right and we had an exciting experience. Bob also mentioned an art deco antiques store in Wheeler that was truly... More

Hi Sandy! Thank you for the kind words! The favorite part of my job is to help people have a memorable experience when they visit the Spindrift Inn, Manzanita, and the surrounding area.
