We stayed at Spindrift once before and just loved it! It's a wonderful location; right on the main road and one block to the beach. Kerrie and Greg are super friendly and happy to accommodate. For example, should you happen to need a bottle opener, just ask and then Kerrie will offer you wine glasses for your use, too (and... More

This was our third visit to the SpinDrift Inn and I fear their standards may be slipping. Or it may be the difference between the rooms. Our room on this visit had more mildew on the rear metal windows than I remember from past visits. Admittedly, the front vinyl windows are very clean. The couch in this unit was more... More

The best part about this Inn is the location. 1 block from the beach, 1 block from great food, 1 block from great coffee, 1 block from the spa. The size of the room was very roomy, but the building itself is a little old and the bathroom definitely outdated. It is a quiet location however and the staff is... More

This place is surrounded by restaurants and many shops to browse in. A grocery store is just a block away and most of the rooms at the Inn are equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. Some rooms even have a kitchenette and many are pet friendly, even supplying a dish, towel and blanket for the furry member of your... More

Quaint motel less than a minute to the beach. Our room had lousy WiFi but we were told the service was to be upgraded soon. The bed had a hump in the middle, afraid of rolling out! No telephone, no full length mirror. Office closed most of the time. No disposable cups or glasses. Because it's the beach we loved... More

The Spindrift Inn has the happy circumstance of being located right downtown in one of the loveliest towns to visit in the Oregon Coast. We stayed two nights in May, and cannot wait to come back. Our room was simple, but clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. Karen even reached out to us herself to... More

My daughter and I along with our dog stayed at The Spindrift Inn Fri and Sat night over Memorial day weekend. I was a bit anxious about how the noise level would be as this place is right downtown. I needn't have worried. Even though there was a big karaoke thing going on across the street, when we were closed... More

Nice place, well put together, great location. The staff really is very nice and I enjoyed my stay here. I would suggest that you book directly with the hotel as some of these hotel websites charge some ridiculous fees. (this one, easytobook, was pretty reasonable).

my boyfriend and I stayed for a night over spring break. Everything was clean and organized, and ready for our evening! A block away from the beach, great location, adorable rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly. (we happened to love the charm) And hopefully we will be back soon!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lovely, quaint, great rooms, inexpensive, a great location, and the people are friendly ... that’s how our guests describe Spindrift Inn. This cozy 14 room cottage-style rural inn is just a block from a 7 mile beach in Manzanita, on Oregon’s gorgeous North Coast. Mountains meet the sea, surrounded by two State Parks, forests and the Pacific Ocean. In our inn you will find no smoking, pillowtop beds, some suites, some kitchenettes, and some pet-friendly rooms (call ahead to be sure). Off the highway, Manzanita’s small commercial district is nestled among cabins and cottages - perfect to park and walkabout. There are shops with trendy clothing, natural food, and several restaurants serving fish en papillote to authentic Mexican. And the connection with Nature is superb ... you can re-fresh, rejuvenate and be re-inspired when you return home. Or stay forever (we did). Come visit us ... then you may say: "Spindrift Inn might not have a lot of street appeal, but thankfully the rooms, cleanliness, staff, location and price were all wonderful. We’ll definitely be back again." Owned and operated by local families since 1946. ... more   less
