This place was almost $250 for the night and If I had seen it before I booked it I wouldn't have stayed there if had been free. FILTHY, OLD, DISGUSTING. It looked like it hadn't had ANY maintenance since it had been built 10-20 years ago. I took the sheet off the bed the next morning and put it on... more

This is an old motel and the housekeeping staff does the best they can for the shape the rooms are in. Much need of updating rooms - maybe one section at a time. The food at the Chinook Winds seafood Grill was good in the past but the last few times we stayed, it wasn't. Good access to beach &... more

The hotel is very nice and the beach view rooms are spacious but there is VERY little accessibility for handicapped customers except in Building D rooms numbered 100 on the beach view area only. All other rooms have no ramps and customers must climb stairs to get to the rooms. The desk clerk girl did not even know about the... more

My wife and I come to Chinook Winds a couple of times a year. It use to be worth it because the gaming was loser as it seemed, (Play longer yet go home poor) Although we come down in a 36 ft motor home. It seems that Chinook Winds does not like people who come down in Motor Homes because... more

Six of us came to see Roy Clark at the casino. The casino was within walking distance and a shuttle was available within minutes of a phone call. That was the good part. We would never stay here again. It is old, outdated and dirty. The price was outrageous. Should have paid attention to Trip Advisor ratings!! more

We spent 2 nights at this property celebrating our 20th anniversary and we enjoyed our stay. I've read a lot of posts that pertain to the older refurbished Shilo Inn property. As a business traveler who spends 150+ nights on the road, I can tell you the old Shilo is just that. Old. I've stayed in the best and worst... more

We had visited 2007 and just loved it. This year though, it wasn't as good. The view was still great and if you get a 1st level room the back door opens right up to small cliff overlooking the beach and ocean. Their housekeeping staff leaves a lot to be desired. We went with my sister and her husband who... more

With as much money as the casino makes you would think that they would have a nice hotel on their property. This hotel is really run down and not at all a quality place to stay. The other coastal casinos offer such beautiful rooms and give even better deals to get us to come to their establishment. Chinook Winds needs... more

We decided to stay in the hotel because it was right next to the casino. What a mistake that was! The room was tiny and in need of some serious repairs. At about 1 am somebody started running a dryer in the laundry room and it sounded like two pieces of steel banging together. I called the front desk and... more

When I stay in Lincoln City there are pretty much 2 kinds of properties directly on the beach, below average and above average with a really high price. The Chinook Winds hotel (formally the Shilo Inn Lincoln City) is a below average hotel with an above average rate. My girlfriend and I arrived early on a Saturday morning, the staff... more
