My husband and I stayed here last week. What a mistake. The room was tiny. They say it is a queen bed but it is a double. Very noisy, old building. No elevator, so you lug your bags up two flights of stairs. Room smelled like smoke and the room was in need of a makeover. We spent time in... More

We arrived and went to check in. The staff was not very friendly and acted like they were doing you a favor. So that started off the day wrong. When we got to our room it was smaller then my childhood room. It was clean but tiny . No elevator either to take your bags up on. You had to... More

The resort is located right on the beach -fabulous view of the beach and ocean. The hotel however, was an older building. It was very basic but beds were comfortable. The casino and restaurants were a short walk across the parking lot.

Room was adequate for a one night stay. Price was very reasonable with the players club card. This room would not be adequate for a oversized individual as the bathroom entry was limited. It was easy walking distance to the casino. We highly recommend the buffet. They make a clam chowder and a seafood chowder that are second to no... More

We tried to check in at 5 pm and the room still wasn't ready! We had plans for the evening and had to wear our travel clothes. The chairs had horrible stains on them, it was quite bad. It served a purpose for a reunion; but, never again It's too bad because the staff was very nice.

It had been a whopping three years since our last family venture to this venue and my, how things have changed! First of all, last time (August 2011) the major draw was the coupon book that reimbursed you for your entire vacation -- well, that is non-existent. Kaput. Gonesville. Still, a bargain's to be had, if one will look. As... More

Didn't stay at the hotel this trip, but have in the past. The older section next door to the casino is a slightly revamped Shilo Inn from the 1970s that looks/feels its age. The suites are further away & much more comfortable and newer. Buffet food isn't good: overcooked, bland, poor selection, etc. This time we chose items from the... More

It's a pretty big casino, but very smokey for me- even in the non-smoking area. There is free parking for your RV in a lot with many scenic views of the beautiful, blue Pacific ocean; great sunsets and a free shuttle to the casino. All that I had to do was register for their "player card", although I probably didn't... More

Went to check in 2 hours after check in time, told to wait. Room not ready. We requested highest level, told nothing available. Everyone in line before and after told the same. I believe it is there way of getting people to go to casino first. I said not acceptable and insisted to get in. Was given a bottom level,... More
