We stayed here 2 nights on our honeymoon. The room was fine- nothing spectacular - but the view was just amazing!!! Right on the beach! We had a lot of fun playing in the casino: they had a large variety of games and, unlike a lot of other casinos in the area, roulette was open the whole time we were... More

Stayed in Rm.405 (jr. suite)for 2 nights. Bathroom tub surround is loose from the tub and mold has formed badly on vinyl. Carpet not vacuumed, crumbs on dining chairs, crumbs and powder substance on kitchenette counters, filthy under microwave, upholstered chairs in sitting area both had major tears, windows so dirty we had to wash them to see the ocean,... We use to stay here when it was owned by Shilo Inns, was great then. Has gone down hill since, everything in rooms is old. Not worth $118 a night! No smoking rooms smell like smoke, doors slam no matter what you do. TV and internet don't work, they said it was a part they needed, but another guest said... More

After reading some of the bad reviews about this place we tried very hard to find another hotel in the area but the other hotels in this price range were full. We have stayed in many casino hotels over the years both in Las Vegas and Oregon and this Casino/Hotel had both good and bad points. First the good. Your... More

Stayed on the Chinook Winds resort over the 4th of July weekend. The rooms aren't bad but can use some updating. Our room clock was probably from the late 80's/ early 90's. There was no AC and didn't like the paint job in our room. Everything else made up for these things. My sister's room next door had a wet... More

Do yourself a favor, if you don't have an ocean side room, stay elsewhere. The parking lot rooms are like a tiny cubby hole. I've seen bigger airplane bathrooms. Hitting knees on everything. No microwave, no refrigerator, no AIR CONDITIONING! Screens falling out of the window. Hairdryer was melted at the wall. The corridors to the rooms have four doors... More

We went back to this casino hoping it had improved. It has not. The variety of machines is average, staff unfriendly, Players Club give nothing, restaurant not worth visiting and still, the machines are dirty and sticky, just not a pleasant experience. I finally gave up and just walked around to see if there were any winner. I did not... More

A clean but charmless hotel attached to a casino. Very poor sound deadening in the older south building. This is a place for a young family that may be short on funds and just need a clean place to visit the beach. The dining was mediocre, but not bad. Staff was very nice.

Great location at beach, but the room we had was car from great. Musty smell at first(opened the windows to get air flow). Partly remodeled room which shouldn't be allowed to be used for paying guests. Room for is in dire need of replacement because of the numerous shoddy repairs, and the bottom of the bath door is falling apart.

The hotel is very old and in poor shape. The hotel has an outside entrance and across the parking lot from the casino. The door to our room was very old and had been painted over many times, and didn't shut completely. The walls between rooms were thin and we could easily hear people next door. The bedding and towels... More
