We loved our 3-night stay! We had everything we needed, and really like the location (simple to cross the street to the beach). We picked the Pixie Kitchen room in which to stay, and even though it didn't have a "view," we appreciated the peace and quiet, and I loved sitting and reading on the porch. It was a beautiful,... We just celebrated our second wedding anniversary here (and our second visit to Whistling Winds this year), and we really love this place! If you're going as a duo, it's tiny, but perfect. Beautiful, rustic interior, and comfy beds. We stayed in the Kontiki room for two nights this time around, which is one of the jacuzzi suites the motel... More

Don't expect luxury here, but do expect a very clean well remodeled "old school" motor lodge. I love this trend in restored motor lodges but sometimes you can still smell the 1955 in the room. Not the case with WW... We splurged a little on a hot tub room with a Tempurpedic bed, well worth the extra little bit! If... More

Quiet, snug and cozy room. Clean, very reasonably priced, great WiFi. - well worth the stop on the highway. Lovely town with lots of amenities needed for travellers. Room had a microwave fridge. t.v. with lots of DVD's and friendly staff.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay and I found Whistling Winds on the web. First just looking over the rooms and then I looked at the outside and remembered walking by the motel in August. When we walked by at least 4 times I kept telling him that we would stay there one day. I... More

We stayed in Ocean's 12. We needed a place due to in laws wanting to go to the coast. We were happily surprised to find that not only the room was beautiful, all done over with wood, but there was a full sized (16 cub ft?) refrigerator in our kitchen area, which also had a full stove (small but servicable).... We had the privilege to stay at the Whistling Winds Motel this past weekend and it was unexpectedly wonderful. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating and sincere. We feel it was a great room for the money and we will definitely be staying again.

My husband and I have stayed here in the past and decided to come again. Somehow it didn't feel the same. The towels were thin and old! I definitely missed the daily room service of clean towels and made up beds and emptied trash. The cottage that I thought I had reserved was just attached to the main building and... More

Room was nice, wood on the floor - so easier to keep clean. Bathroom was good and the little kitchenette was a bonus. Was a nice and unexpected stay in Lincoln city. The owner upgraded the place and that was a good idea, we enjoyed our stay

I’ve never wrote a bad review of a motel before, but in this case, I really felt that it was necessary to let people know about the items and services missing at this Motel. And at $300 for a two night stay, these are things that should be supplied. First, let me start by saying that the Motel itself is... More
