The room was clean, but had a weird feeling checking in. Really basic cont. breakfast. Styrofoam cups, muffins cut up in little pieces and dougnuts. It felt like a place that just gets by on offering the minimum. more

5 star value at 3.5 star pricing! Traveling during peak season on a limited budget paid off at the Edgecliff Motel. The desk service was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and the view outstanding. There are various types of suites available, but ours had a gas fireplace with a balcony overlooking the beach/ocean. While not on the beach itself,... more

Not our first trip to Lincoln city so we already had the sad experience of getting ripped off by the Inn at Spanish head, that featured a pull down bed and a so so view for five hundred smackers and billed as a romantic getaway with crumby service at the restaurant and all of the rest of the problems that... more

We were guided to our room by this disheveled man who actually turned to us and told us to hurry up! The room felt unpleasant and had a bad atmosphere to it! It did have an ocean view but we were exposed on each side of the balcony so their was no privacy. The baseboards were covered with peeling carpet.... more

I have stayed on the Oregon coast a few times in the past but I never knew about this spot until a friend of mine recommended it to me. I guess I overlooked this place. I loved sitting on the balcony with my husband and enyoing the sunset with my husband. This spot is a great romantic get-away. It was... more

I actually read the reviews before booking. After reading reviews about the ocean view, reasonable price, and good customer service, I decided to stay here and was glad that I did. Of course I read a couple negative reviews but I figured that there are always going to be picky people who will never be satisfied. I had a wonderful... more

We visited the coast for the first time and had the most wonderful time. This motel was newly remodeled, great ocean view and access, and a lovely and charming room. We spent hours on the balcony relaxing and enjoying the view. I highly recommend this motel to everyone. more

I've been coming to Lincoln City, OR for years now, and have always stayed at the Edgecliff Motel. The new units are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The views are incredible....depending on the season, you could see whale spouts, hundreds of tiny fisher boats, and you can almost always catch a beautiful sunset! The beach is also beyond compare...I go out... more
