The Westshore is just was I was looking for as I drove north from Yachats. I wanted a small, chain-free motel, as close to the ocean as I could afford. For $76 (tax included) I have the beach just outside my window, a wonderful rocking chair to watch it from, and a queen-sized bed situated such that I can gaze... more

We have stayed at the Westshore several times over the past three years, but we won't be going back in the future. We've overlooked it being older and worn out because of the location and it was fairly clean. This time we could no longer make concessions, We stayed for 3 nights this trip. The rooms were dirty and daily... more

We arrived to a nice, older looking room, and were awed by the huge window in te living room, then we remebered the beds were all new memory foam, and were dissapointed when they really weren't, there was no roll-away beds, we got almost no sleep as the walls are paper thin. It's good there wasn't an alarm clock, because... more

We've also been staying here for 30+ years. This time, our unit on the first floor was immaculately clean, with new appliances, extremely comfortable queen size bed, and fully furnished kitchen with a decent toaster, microwave and coffeemaker. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and good lamps for reading. You don't pay luxury prices -- this is not... more

My husband and I first went to the Westshore in 1976. Thirty one years later we still go to the Westshore. We've been to a couple other motels on the coast, but we've never been happy like we are at the Westshore. When we visit, I am saddened with modern touches; I think the "old" that other reviewers are so... more

LOCATION: Gorgeous view!! Absolutely amazing to wake up in the morning and drink your coffee while watching the frantic ocean roar just yards from your window. It's central to everything... that you can't beat. ACCOMODATION: Old with very dated furniture, worn out (includes carpeting & fixtures), not clean, and extremely drafty... but on the large size for a kitchenette suite... more

After having read Tripadvisor's top 10 places to stay in Lincoln City, Oregon and wanting to stay oceanfront at a place central to the 7 mile stretch of beach, we chose the Westshore Motel. We did not know what to expect as there were few pictures online and now I know why. The Westshore Motel is a very old property... more

We happened to stop in Lincoln City on our way home to Vancouver from visiting the sand dunes, and happened to come across Westshore Motel. What a GREAT discovery. 70 bucks for an oceanfront room!! Unfortunately for us, it was a bit foggy out... The bathroom is a little small but the room is ample-sized. There is a full sized... more

Wonderful *off the beaten path* motel. Stairs right down to the beach. Ground level rooms have *porches* upstairs rooms have amazing windows, with spectacular views. Kitchenettes in every room. Rooms with bedrooms in them. Perfect place for mom and dad to take the kids for a week of sun-n-fun. Their winter rates are more than reasonable, and their summer rates... more
