We booked our stay on a winter two night special, for us a good opportunity to try different properties. After arriving and receiving a long and extensive rundown of numerous rules and instructions from the desk, we headed to our room. We were immediately greeted with a horrible purple carpet, drapes and olive drab bedspread. This looked nothing like their... More

We are sorry that our Oceanfront Standard King room did not meet this guest’s standards. It is true that the room does not look exactly like the pictures on our website because the brand new furniture and bed in the room were put in just three weeks ago. Upon receiving this review, we closely inspected the room, carefully looking into... More

Stayed here for with our dog for two days in the winter. Room was in a building with many other dogs...maybe all dog rooms? Room was small, carpet stained. Heater either didn't heat at all or blasted us out when set at 55 degrees. Big rust stain in the tub. View is great and the staff are friendly...maybe the other... More

Not high end but not low either. Right in the middle. As for the staff, cleanliness and view of the ocean from the room, I would say all top notch. Great beach access from the property. You do have to climb some steps to return from the beach but it is so worth it. There is also a spot just... More

We have been coming to the Sea Horse Inn Since December 2008. We have rented rooms and a house throughout the years and it has always been great. The only thing we had an issue with is when we tried to get a room with an in room jacuzzi tub and we found out that because we had our two... More

We stayed here a year ago. Had a good room with a great price. They send e-mails to repeat customers with upcoming specials. This year's rate was good so we thought we'd try it again. This year we got an ocean-front room. Check-in was smooth. This year they had a deal where you could get a further discount by bringing... More

The hotel and the room was very old and outdated. It was not as clean as it could have been (large stain on carpet, bedding falling apart, literally). The oceanfront view was second to none, so for the price, we decided to stay. The woman at the front desk was very nice, and helpful. If you are looking for luxury,... More

We flew into Portland, and wanted to make our way down the coast, beginning at Cannon Beach. We wanted to stay on the ocean, so when we reached Lincoln City, Sea Horse looked like a nice place. The lady at the desk was nice enough to let us upgrade to the top floor suite, and I thought we were in... More

For an older coast motel it is in pretty good shape. Paid extra for to upgrade to a king room with a view of the ocean and it was worth it. Bed was a little firm, but not bad at all. Did not try the stairs to the beach, but the breakfast was your standard fair, fruit, cereal, bagels, juice.... More

Sea Horse rooms are like going to a friend's house where the beds are meant for overnight stay rather than weeks at a time but the privacy and ability to cook in the room and walk my dogs without climbing stairs made the two night stay heavenly. Their is an ocean view hot tub so be sure to bring a... More

Our family of 5 + the dog spent 2 nights in House #102 at SeaHorse Oceanfront Lodging. We had originally reserved a 1 bedroom suite, but decided to opt for a little more room with a house instead (the cost difference for September weekend was very small). The house had more of a cabin feel to me and yes, the... More
