We probably would not have booked at this hotel due to the higher price in comparison with other hotels of the same quality on the ocean near the Lincoln City area of Oregon...but we were celebrating my birthday. Neither of us had been to this hotel before and always wanted to try it. From what I understand, the hotel is... More

I have to admit that I had mixed feelings about booking this hotel - it is pricey and previous reviewers set off a few alarms for me. I've made reservations over the phone and it was fine considering that they only had 2 rooms available and I was lucky enough to get the last double queen bed room. Our room... More

Upon first glance, pleased as punch. Upon further inspection, small negative details find their way into this critique. Driving down and seeing the welcoming Spanish style hotel inspired our imagination. It appeared well kept, and was supplied with valet and bellman services (remember to tip). The valet was recommended but we chose to unpack and park upon check in. The... More

As others have said, the hotel is right on the edge of the beach, with balconies and great ocean views from every room. It's not within walking distance of any attractions, but restaurants and shops are a short drive away in either direction. There is a one-lane tunnel under Highway 101 so that it's not necessary to make any left... More

Wow, I don't understand all the glowing reviews. This hotel is not well-maintained, it's smelly and damp, and the food is average. Paint is chipped, hardware is rusted, bathroom cabinets are dirty, interior is extremely outdated. This place needs some TLC. Our room on the 6th floor smelled strongly of cleanser or something we couldn't get rid of, even with... More

We held our beach wedding here 8/10/14, mainly for beautiful scenery and the full ocean view banquet room. Our biggest complaint was that the hotel hosts weddings and such, but don't help set up the beach or have any supplies to help set up the beach whatsoever. We paid a little extra for the nicer 4th floor banquet room so... More

An interesting cliff side hotel. It's 10 stories high with the lobby on the 9th floor where you enter. Built into the side of a cliff, every room has an ocean view. It's not economy priced, but it's in the middle of the range for ocean side hotel/motels along the coast. Our basic room was a little dated, but was... More

I have traveled to many places thus far in my life but have never experienced the exceptional stay as we did here. The staff was beyond helpful and gracious, from the front desk to housekeeping. I made a last minute request to have a wedding party and guests come to the Sunday brunch and they went well out of their... More

We stayed here for three night in August. The pros are location the cons are every room is different since they are individually owned. For 300 dollars a night I expect more. Our full kitchen was a joke, 3 utensils for a family of four. There pots and pans are old hardly anything useful in our unit. Why have a... More

Very nicely decorated rooms, has character, the views are amazing, the bathrooms are all remodeled. We watched 4th of july fireworks from our balcony with an ocean view while people built and gathered around fire. great amenities, and easy access to beach.
