Great location for winter storm watching. It was awesome they had a valet for parking the car as the lot is a bit away and it was pouring rain. Extremely clean room but did smell a bit like pine sol :(. Towels could have been bigger and plusher, overall very very nice

Always heard of this place and saw it on the many trips to the coast. Got into a room without a reservation which was nice but clerk should have said the ocean view was a partial view to the left when we were thinking "ocean front" view. Should have also said the extended balcony has absolutely no privacy and both... More

The rooms here are quaint and comfortable, the hotel is stately and decorated in an older style and time of opulent Spanish or Coastal furniture and linens. The dining experience was average and overpriced for the quality. The wine list was acceptable.

To us this place is the ultimate bait & switch...their website shows stylish contemporary rooms and suites featuring marble, stainless appliances and leather chairs. The words to warn you are 'each room individually decorated by owners' apparently only a handful of owners have the money and taste to do it right. We came back after 10 yrs to find the... More

I have always wanted to stay there since I was a kid camping with my parents. My wife and I stayed there one night and we were both disappointed. The building was old, the elevator was not working properly. The staff was nice. The view was great. However, the price for a room was not worth what we got for... More

We stayed in a studio suite with a queen bed during the off season. In contrast to some of the negative reviews, our room was clean and comfortable with a relatively good view. There are better views to be had at the Inn, but anywhere you look is pretty good. We thought the off-season rates were about right for what... More

Make sure to have dinner before dark for a GORGEOUS view of the beach for miles. Make sure to have breakfast the next morning for the same impressive view. The food is fabulous too - I had the best steak EVER. We stayed in a suite and were so impressed we are going to splurge every time for the same... More

We have stayed at the Inn at Spanish Head many times over the years. It is run like a hotel but every room is privately owned so no two are alike. The staff will let you look at various rooms to pick what works best for you. All rooms overlook the ocean and most have balconies. Our new "favorite "... More

This is my first review ever. I stayed here earlier this month. I asked for one bed because I co-sleep with baby. They gave me two beds with headboards that were barely screwed on. The bed was rock hard. My baby and myself barely could get comfortable. The view was great, it was a little muggy outside so I opened... More

My room was very clean. I know this because I dropped something and had to search for it under the bed. I had a king-size efficiency sweet: nothing beats the warm comfy bed, lying in the dark, looking at the might waves of the Pacific. The staff were friendly and helpful, the coffee bar in the morning was convenient, and... More
