We've stayed many times at the Captain Cook. It's a great facility, with old-fashioned rooms that have been remodeled. The remodeling hasn't detracted from the charm, as the owners have retained the best features of a quaint, old-fashioned place to stay. We got an extra bonus during our last visit-an upgrade. They did it because there was a softball team... More

My husband and I recently rode our motorcycles down then up the Oregon coast. We stayed at this motel both times we were in Lincoln City. The rooms have been recently renovated and the beds are wonderful. Their coffee is really good too! The managers Trish and Todd Raney were very friendly and helpful! Be sure to check out the... More

The choice was a chain hotel or this little inn. We chose the inn and were not disappointed. The welcome from the front desk was warm, the room immaculate (and so quaint) and even though it was on the 101 we didn't hear any noise. The bed was super comfortable and the room was large and comfy, so was the... More

Updated and larger than expected rooms were a very pleasant surprise. A blast from the past, in that you get to park right outside your room. Recent renovations were well done and the amenities provided were appreciated. Although on the highway we couldn't hear any traffic.

I stay in room #11 often with two children and never had a problem. We love the coziness of the rooms. Very homey. The heat works great. Everyone should give these rooms a shot. Friendly service, great clean rooms. There is a beautiful grass area out back to relax and Bbq.

the walls are thin so the room was noisy from the rooms next to it, the tv cable was on and off while they were working on it, somebody kept knocking on the door, i had to move the thermostat switch back and forth before the heater would turn off, it was almost 80 degrees, needless to say my stay... Was here on May 12th lots of up grades since last visit . I will always stay here when anywhere near Lincoln City. Such a nice clean and friendly place. Even the out side has been repainted and the flowers are beautiful.

Totally remodeled updated rooms. Weekdays prices are like $39.99 or $45.99 for one person. Nice comfy bed with memory foam mattress. Smoking outside and no pets. New interior paint. Centrally located by grocery store and close to shopping & casino.

On a 10 day road trip, each night in a different hotel, this turned out to be one of my top 2 favorite stays. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They gave a great restaurant recommendation (Mist), and had THE BEST beds and pillows we slept on the whole trip. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

For full disclosure, we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night as we were heading down the Oregon Coast. We have driven past this motel for years and always thought it looked charming. Much different than the big box hotels. Park your car right outside your room. So we booked a room and crossed our fingers.... More
