We stayed here for a couple of days over the Thanksgiving holiday while we were in town visiting relatives. It was not lavish but the rooms were spacious, clean and well-kept. Our room opened up right to the lake and it was very peaceful- although it rained a lot. The staff was very friendly and, after the first night, they... More

Stay out of Room 24. My husband woke up covered in bed bug bites. We took a picture of his back and showed it took the front desk and she gave us a discount. She said they would be bug bombing the room. This motel is surrounded in beauty and the staff are friendly and I hope they can fix... More

We have stayed here a couple of times. Tenmile lake is right out the back door and beautiful. The element that hangout around the hotel made my review lower. The rooms were mostly clean. I never used the coffee maker and styrofoam cups because a spider had made them its home. Our room was so hot, we were on the... More

I'm sitting on the deck looking out on the lake and hills of trees beyond. Listening to a variety of birds and watching a guy fish out on the dock. Rooms are adequate and clean. This place just slows ya down and let's ya think. Management are flexible and down home. Love it!

think Super-8 motel, but for twice the price. for $100+ i expected a bit more. the whole place reeked like smoke, even though it was posted "non smoking"; it smelled like it was baked into the walls or something. the carpet was very stained as well, probably due to being a "pet friendly" motel. the bed was super uncomfortable. the... We had a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The lake view is pleasant and quiet. The interior is a bit dated and the carpet needs to be replaced. There is a bar and restaurant at the end of the hotel. To check-in there was a sign directing us to see the bartender. There is a large... More

We stayed here three nights and loved it. We were on the first floor and could walk outside to the lake. We were only 10 minutes from the dunes so we could ride all day and come back and relax. Our room 17 was a king sized bed and was perfect. Everything worked, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot was just... More

price was ok ,room was fine ,the only thing missing was an A/C unit in the room ,i,m one of those people that like/need an A/C or fan running to get a good nights sleep, the white noise sound drowns out all the noises in the night that tend to keep me awake ,, other then missing an A/C unit...
