despite the criticism, we are glad we took the chance & had a good stay: reception was cordial & competent, any bad smells have been neutralized, plumbing, bedding & cleanliness were definitely acceptable ... hallways still have spill & scruff marks but otherwise seem clean> renovation/remodelling is evident - our rooms were in the part of the building still... more

Not recommended at all. Lobby and hallways reaked of disinfectant/cleanser, plaster pieces on floor from large water stains on ceiling, excessively worn and hideously stained carpeting. low, low quality. Pay the extra few dollars and get a decent room anywhere else. The entire hotel, lobby, halls and room, all smelled like stale tobacco smoke. The carpets were worn, dirty and mismatched. There is nothing good to say about this hotel. The lobby reeked of stale smoke, the check-in took 25 minutes, and I was PREPAID!! Our hallway smelled like a catbox.
