Disgusting! NEEDS to be audited for HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS!!! That I will also be reporting. We are a well traveled family and needed a place to stay for a family reunion hosted at Sun river. What is advertised on the site is so grossly misrepresented, I am also reporting this B&B to the BBB. We stayed for 4 nights, and... More

Dear Texas travelers, our apology that you did not enjoy your stay. DiamondStone 2-unit B&B has provided lodging and breakfasts to thousands of travelers since 1994. See 54 other good reviews. You stated you are a chef and friend of Iron Chef Bobby Flay, so we were challenged to meet your expectations. This is a home, not a 5-star restaurant.... More

Great place to stay - comfortable room and bed, very spacious. Our bathroom had a futuristic looking shower, that was fun. Off the main roads for quiet and privacy but close enough to easily get anywhere. Great hosts. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at Diamond Stones Maluhia cabin back in October on our annual get away for my wife's birthday. We found the Maluhia cabin very warm comfortable and inviting and quite cozy on the cool fall evenings.I just loved the log cabin feel with a Hawaiian theme. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen with a great open floor plan... More

I had not used a gift card for bedandbreakfast.com that I had been given a while back so I googled Central Oregon and DiamondStone guest lodges popped up. Our Central Oregon family has been looking for a place to gather up with our Southern Oregon family, possibly over the Holidays. It was my daughters birthday weekend so we decided to... More

Our goal was to find a cabin out in the woods but near a river or body of water so we could possibly fish. Also, we wanted to be near Bend or Sunriver. With a feeling of remoteness, privacy and comfort. The value wasn't met with this place. The comfort factor was 5 out of 10. The bed was not... More

We remember your stay started with not returning (reading) the tenant agreement which says "Home uses well water, safe but with a bit of iron in it. There's a Brita filtered water pitcher in the refrig." Regarding breakage, due to high season occupancy, we've not been able to get in to fix things. A guest fell against and crushed that... More

We stayed for almost a week here in September during our trip through the North-West USA. The lodge is great with lovely rooms. he upstairs room has a large deck from which you can stargaze at night, or just relax on. Also the place has a large garden with a few nice spots to sit and relax. Gloria and Doug... More

We were two couples and shared the living and kitchen facilities, with seperate bedrooms. Nice greeting and information shared at arrival. Place was warm in the cool evening. Really nice decor and comfort. Couches etc were asthetically pleasing. Our bed was fair in comfort (not as good as home but we have a top notch bed at home). Plenty of... More

We'll go back! We enjoyed the accommodations - clean and quiet, including a lovely breakfast, great coffee and interesting conversations with the hosts. We appreciated the knowledgeable dinner recommendations (Hola was wonderful), the beautiful view from our room, and the tour of the motorcycle rentals. Much more than just a good night's sleep!

My Wife surprised me with a last minute weekend trip to the Bend area. She wanted someplace close to the Newberry Volcano. She was able to find a room at the Diamond Stone Guest Lodge for the two nights we needed. We arrived late in the day and as soon as we arrived the hosts made us feel right at... More

We took one look at this place and left! It's located in the middle of nowhere and was not at all what they advertised. No waterfront near by...a Motorcross banner across the front of the building...several people milling about who may or may not have lived there - an unpleasant discovery.

Sandra, Gloria here. I tried to reach you 3X before your arrival, to explain we'd be unavailable to greet you, so we left a note at the door, which you used to drive 1 minute to your unit on 1.5 forested acres. "People milling about" were our assistants waiting to show you in. Not "in the middle of nowhere" but... More
