As far as the lake and area go, it is a 5 on our scale but the campground was mediocre at best. The sites are very close together and if you have a boat and camper like us then you want to get the pull thru sites as backing in was not an easy task everyday. Every site pretty much... More

If you have never taken the time away from golfing all the beautiful courses in Bend take a stroll down Hwy 97 toward LaPine and head up to East lake resort and Paulina lake resort. The trip is truly worth your time and if you can plan to stay awhile. The resort has day use area and a very cute... More

We stopped here for lunch but did not stay overnight. I want to place a strong endorsement for the cafe. We had a large group for such a small place so it took awhile to serve us but it was worth the wait. The location is serene. We ate inside because it was raining. This is not on the highway... More

I just spent two nights at the East Lake Resort. It is a cozy, family friendly place and has a great location with lots of beach and lake views. There are quite a few cabins arranged in two rows - in front and close to the water are 4-5 cabins while in back on the other side of a road... More

My wife and I wanted to get away from the city (Portland) for a weekend and, since we love the Bend area, chose to stay at East Lake Resort. What strikes you first at East Lake is the comfortable, family atmosphere embedded in the gorgeous lake-side community. Everything from the picnic tables on the grassy nook to the friendly general... I stayed here last summer with my parents and my wife. The area is breathtakingly beautiful. The fishing is good (if you can get dialed into it). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The cabins are "cozy" and a little "rustic" but very clean. My wife and I stayed at the East Lake Resort campground the summer before after... More

Was surprised at how well run the resort was. Lots of people but very orderly. No noise at night. We could look at the lake (through a few pines) 50 feet away. No TVs or phones. No newspapers. Accommodations are very basic...from at least the 1950's.. Everything worked however. Shower was tiny. Saggy looking beds did not give either of... More
