We stayed in Cabin 29, our second time in that cabin. The cabin is not large, but it is so well laid out that that it feels roomy. Lots of storage, so we could put our clothes in the drawers and closets and take our empty luggage out to the truck. The pantry next to the fridge is a perfect... More

Our family chose Lake of The Woods for our Christmas time adventure. We love to chose a place with snow and beautiful scenery, and we were not disappointed! Although we have been to Lake of The Woods many times in our lives, this was the first to stay in the cabins during the winter. We were so pleasantly surprised to... More

The trails for snowmobiles, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing are amazing! The lake was frozen over and trekking on it was a blast! The staff were all so friendly at the store and checkin! I can't speak about the cabins themselves as they were sold out! What does that tell you!

I decided to take advantage of the amazing snow conditions and spend a day cross country skiing on my way back from visiting relatives at Christmas in Klamath Falls. I stayed for two nights in cabin #12 at Lake of the Woods. It was very cozy--it had a stove top, small refrigerator (to store all the Christmas leftovers) and a... More

Lake of the woods has a mini store and restaurant right next to the boat launch. It's a great place to stop for a driving break and to stretch your legs. There's also lots of snacks or the great little cafe if hungry or to stock up before heading out to fish.

This place has been around for decades and seems to have a special significance for quite a few people. This was my first visit and I made a mistake - the (super small) Fox Den cabin for two grown adults. I honestly expected a bit more for the $100 per night rate. This cabin is small... small like there is... More

Thank you for the feedback. Honestly the cabin choices are very plentiful. The resort strives to offer something for varied levels of comfort. Your review of the Fox Den is accurate although the toilet is in a small bathroom. The entire cabin is just 12 feet by 16 feet in size. It's a Park Model Cabin with 1 queen bed,... More

What a charming resort! The staff was gracious and the cabins well stocked. A couple of our light bulbs were burnt out, but that's the only thing I can come up with that wasn't perfect. Lots to do in the area too! Crater Lake is stunning! Sure wish we could have stayed longer!

Pristine lake surrounded by pine trees and mountaintops, who could ask for more? We brought our mountain bikes with us and there were bike paths around the lake and for the more adventurous, trails climbing the mountains. The weekend we were there, there was a triathlon, and I listened to 2 bands playing while we were eating on the outside... More

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Crater Lake National Park and we just loved it. The setting is very peaceful with the beautiful trees and the lake that is part of the resort. We rented a small cabin and it was very small (i.e. there is not even a sink in the bathroom; the kitchen... More

First time here. Stayed in a park model cabin. While could sleep 4, felt cramped to us with only 2. Picked first time in months when it rained. Weather was cold and wet but cabin was warm and dry. Bring your own condiments if you plan on cooking. Salt, pepper and coffee were provided. No TV but we used the... More
