We spent 4 nights in our 5th wheel with full hookups. Others reported the sites were too close, but we found them we'll spaced and well maintained. We met family and friends and all had a great experience. One of the highlights is the live entertainment on the weekends. We danced Saturday night to an awesome band. On Sunday they... More

We go there a lot during the summer months just to get away for the day. We take our boat and tubes so the kids can ride on them. Got to go early in the morning though because by mid morning it is crowded. Lots if boats, jet skiers and swimmers. They offer a lot of places to bbq if... More

My family has been camping at Lake of the Woods since the 1940's and a few of us, now senior citizens with adult children of our own, decided to have a reunion this summer at the resort. We stayed in cabins and an RV and had a super time. The cabins were fine and well-equipped for large gatherings at meal... More

We found our new favorite spot to get away. Beautiful lake. Vintage charm. Great Service. Despite being 6 hours away from home, we will find our way back here many times to come. Upon our arrival with a large Airstream, Sue literally ran on the road to guide us in to our spot. Check in was a breeze and the... More

Absolutely loved our short stay here. If I had known how amazingly beautiful Lake of the Woods was, we would have stayed longer. So close to Crater Lake and Klamath Falls. RV sites were beautiful and the store and restaurant were great. Loved the fact that my dog had other dogs to play with a bit. Miss this place already!

Lake of the Woods is a beautiful quiet lake close to our home. It is our go to spot for relaxation and fun. So much to do: Boating, fishing, hiking, biking, sightseeing, etc. We love it here and the staff is fabulous!

Thank you for your understanding, you say to another reviewer? We don't understand at all! You have lost our business, and many others as well, when you started "enforcing" a parking fee. We have been coming here for years to eat at the resort and the prices are high enough to cover the parking fee. The parking should be built... More

Unfortunately you don't really grasp the idea why we are now charging everyone for the opportunity to come here during the busy season to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great atmosphere here at Lake of the Woods. There has always been a parking fee, the choice to charge everyone for access is in response to the huge increase in the... More

We just got back from five days of fish / camping at Lake of the Woods. We stayed at the Aspen Point campgrounds just down the road from the resort / marina. The campground was the nicest I've ever been to, lots of space between RV spots, clean bathrooms and showers, beautiful setting in the tall pines. The camp hosts,... More

Stayed here two days in cabin 14A with my wife. Family came to visit one afternoon. Cabin is rustic, but clean. No air conditioning. Stocked with what seemed like garage sale dinner ware and utensils. Queen bed was old and a little uncomfortable. Spa-tub was great, but shower nozzle put out very hard, painful spray. Restraint was good. Great Garden... More

Great lake to spend the afternoon with the family. We did not stay on site but visited for a few hours. They have a great area for swimming. They also offer red beach chairs, but bring an umbrella for shade. There is a floating pod for kids to jump off into the water. My daughter loved it! They also have... More
