We have stayed @White Fir Cottage numerous times in last 10 yrs. and never had any Issues. Well the "Wallowa Lake Resort" has changed Mgmt. and we had No Idea what we were in for!! Rate was @$140/a nite and part of that Rate is for Cleaning. That property was NOT Clean! Their were hairs on Toilet Seats, Urine on... More

I picked Wallowa Lake Resort for the sole reason of trying to get away from Flying Arrow Resort, only to find out that they had been bought out by the same people. I have been coming to Wallowa lake for 30 years, and almost exclusively (except for state park camping) stayed in rental cabins. Many of them were owned by... More

Wallowa Lake is nestled to the south of the Wallowa Mountains which are known to the locals as the miniature Alps. The lake itself is magnificent and the drive to the Wallowa Lake Resort takes you around the lake to its headwaters which come right out of the Wallowa Mountains. The lake is filled with several species of trout and... More

We had a family get together and stayed in the Wallowa River House. The house is spacious and over looks the Wallowa River. It has 2 fireplaces, a huge master bedroom, a jacuzzi tub upstairs, lots of windows, a split level deck with stairs that lead to the river bank. They have everything you need to have a great getaway.... More

Upon arriving at the "patio suite" which was a cabin space that is basically a larger house/cabin broken into rental units the space was very disappointing. Outdated cabins are to be expected, but upon entering the space was musty, had wallpaper borders from the 70s or 80s that completely clashed with those on others, a very small space with old... I stayed two nights in this beautiful old lodge and highly recommend it. It is very clean and the bed was firm and I slept very well. The restaurant I found to be exceptional and had my breakfast there and dinner both days. Setting on the side of the lake you can walk and enjoy the most beautiful nature along... More

I can't really comment on the quality of the cabins because no one was willing to even help me with finding a couple. I contacted them 3 times with my email and phone number and no one called or emailed me back. I also called them to ask about a couple of cabins I was interested in and the person... More

My wife and I spent a week in Aneroid Lake cabin with our old Black Lab and little Dachshund. It was a glorious time for all of us. There are 8 or 10 cabins of various sizes set in kind of a horseshoe under the trees. The resort accepts dogs in a few of the cabins only. Plan to reserve... More

Having not been to Wallowa Lake for 20 or so years, I was not prepared for everything at the lake to be closed. At first it was a let down but after a few hours of relaxing and listening to....nothing, it was such a perfect family getaway. Hiking the surrounding trails and feeding the very tame deer made this trip... More

Beautiful cabins near the beautiful Wallowa Lake. The stay was fantastic, friendly smiling staff and a herd of deer just off the front deck that were photo friendly. We came off season and stocked up on groceries in a nearby town, cabin had a propane grill and a gas fireplace that was on and welcoming us when we arrived. Great... More
