We joined two other couples in Joseph OR for their Blues, Brews and Bronze festival and found this place worth the visit. Each room was a bit unique, and all had a semblance of deck space for gathering and enjoying what was in the frig in each room. Owner was unobtrusive, but most helpful offering some tools and screws to... More

Great Landscapes, very nice people and very clean, would have like a little more comfort in the room, I would suggest get rid of the panio and provide a small couch and chairs for the comfort and guest..Other wise it was a great place to stay on the fly and very caring staff.

Hi Richard... AND thanks for your suggestions. BUT hey, have you ever tried to move an upright piano? Most folks seem to get a kick out of it...some even "tickle the ivories". I've heard Chop Stix coming out of there more than a few times! RE: Seating in addition to the Upholstered Rocking Chair and Wrought-iron Rocker: If the 3... More

We stayed here for two nights, because we had some extra time before our reservation at Wallowa Lake State Park. In retrospect, We wished we had just spent the whole time here. We were traveling with another couple, so we needed two sites. The owner Scott was nice enough to let us use three sites and set up facing each... More

We stayed here a few weeks ago for 3 nights. The rooms are very clean but run on the small side. They happened to be repaving the parking lot the day we got there but I wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The owner seemed to be repainting one of the units. We had a very pleasant stay and would... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It is run by a very nice gentleman named Scott. The rooms are clean but VERY small. Quaint might be the word for it, but not a real comfortable layout for the room. The bathroom was very small with no electric outlet. Had to dry my hair in the main room with no... More

Hi there Sharon B and thanks for your feedback. We found the electrical outlet in the bathroom -- it's part of the "old school" light fixture that'll be replaced as we proceed with remodeling our rooms. Good idea about a mirror in the room (outside of the bathroom). Coincidentally, an earlier Customer suggested this too. So, we're now adding add'l... More

We made reservations for Mtn View RV Park in June. The gentleman who took my reservations sounded very nice. Was so looking forward to staying there but the day before we arrived I received a phone call saying that he had to cancel my reservation because they received allot of rain and didn't want trailers parking on the grass. We... More

Yep, Spring rainstorms play havoc with our grassy RV sites. So, rather than risk an RV getting quagmired (stuck) in a grassy site, we restrict RV traffic to our 8 gravelled pads. BUT when they're full (as in this instance), we do our best to make alternate arrangements at other local RV Parks and to alert our Customers as early... More

I stayed a couple nights here while visiting Joseph for a long weekend. Very friendly management! I recieved a few recommendations for nearby hikes when I checked in, and they even let me borrow a book on Eastern Oregon hiking while I stayed. My room was cute and very clean. Great views of the mountains from the back porch of... More

Toured this pretty area after dropping our freshman off @ WSU in Pullman, WA. His stuff filled the car and we were without our usual tent, cooler, and plans. Wandered in here and found a better than average roadside motel. The place had personality (unlike a chain) and a back deck to admire animals and mountains in the view. .... More

Hello there BBONB! Appreciate the feedback about the weak WiFi in Room #1, which sounds reminiscent of cell phone reception in the 2G & 3G past -- "Can you hear me now?" We related this to our WiFi provider, who report that an upgrade is in the works and hopefully available in Jan / Feb 2015. More

The rooms may be too small for disabled individuals but have been up dated with an outdoor theme. No pool or hot tub but has the basics of refer, in room coffee, and satelite TV. Very clean and friendly service with fantastic view of the mountains. Would definately stay here again.

My husband and Ed and I recently spent 3 days here and totally enjoyed our time. We have never been to the area before and this spot has the most spectacular view of the Wallowas you have ever seen. The grounds and facilities are maintained in immaculate condition and the amenities were amazing...free firewood, free ice, and free showers. There... More
