There is not much of a selection of places to stay in Joseph, Oregon. So I chose this motel based on location (within walking distance of restaurants and shops). I was not impressed with the photos on the website and you have to call to make the reservation. When I called one of the owners, Scott answered the phone and... More

I visited during the spring so there were quite a few vacancies. Office staff was very pleasant and check in was quick. The room was very clean and the bed was nice. Close to the road but I could not hear any traffic noise. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the lack of a dead bolt or... More

This old motel was built in the 1950's by Walter Brennan and has been lovingly maintained. The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable and it is located in the center of Joseph. The staff were very friendly and welcoming making this a very pleasant place to spend the night.

This little Inn is the only one right in town. Our room had a private 3 piece bath, (no tub & tiny shower stall), plus an extra sink & vanity on the other side of bathroom door. The very strange thing about this was there was not 1 towel rack, crazy! Also, nothing in the shower to place anything on... More

We stayed in the motel section of this property for 3 nights in the fall. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The small fridge was very useful. The location is excellent being just a short stroll to Joseph's cute downtown. The decor is dated, with pink and flowery bed quilts and decorative pillows. Our room had... More

We stayed in the cottages of this motel. Very friendly service from the owner. The cottages are converted one story apts. very comfortable, clean & quiet. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is we were on a motorcycle and the amenities for the cycle were at the main motel. It's gravel parking all around and we looked for something... More

We jumped off a long hiking trail and got the last two rooms at the East Street Cottages run by this motel. Really nice!! And after five days on the trail, a paradise. Comfy beds and a good shower (with our own water heater). Nice view out the back porch too.

My husband and I were trying to make some last minute reservations in the small town of Joseph over July 4th. I came across this hotel and found good comments regarding its comfortable "feel" so checked it out. Unfortunately, we were unable to get 2 consecutive nights in the same room but Debby said she would keep an eye on... More

We only got to stay 1 night and we agree with most all positive remarks made here. Friendly staff, VERY clean room, reasonable price and very nicely updated. The AC worked great, a separate second vanity was nice. Our Rom was #11 and had a comfy King bed. Great in room coffee, and there was a refrigerator. Microwave available in... More

The Lodge was recommended by friends who live a couple blocks from there. We made the reservation on Wednesday. An injury on Friday prevented the trip. All of sudden we're informed of a 48hr cancellation policy. (That would have been nice to know about up front) The next morning we were told that we'd only be charged for the first... More
