Some might not want to give this place a 5 because it lacks a large flat screen TV but there is enough to see around Joseph that electronic toys are not necessary. The free wifi was fine for most of our needs. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Everything was well thought out to ensure that it worked. The... More

The Bronze Antler B & B was such a pleasure to stay in, every part of it was great - the spotless and serene room (I stayed in the Chief Joseph room) with the beautiful view of the Wallowas, the very accommodating hosts, the food - everything down to the last detail was awesome. Very highly recommended

The Bronze Antler was something of a revelation. Bill and Heather were wonderful, helpful, and very friendly hosts and the breakfast was top notch. Beyond that, the property is nothing short of stellar. Talk about a room with a view! The Wallowa Mountains are right outside the window. We woke up early to see the peaks bathed in alpenglow pink... We stayed one night in the suite and two nights in the sawtooth room. Both were spotless and beautiful, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom in the suite is like no other, fully automated shower, tub, and toilet with heated seat. Most amazing Jacuzzi on the planet. The food was off the chart, and Heather is so warm and friendly.... More

Absolutely the best - not a thing was overlooked in providing an enjoyable stay for my wife and I. I'm sure if Heather could have made the weather better (though it wasn't that bad anyway) she would have. There's nothing more to say - if you do visit this place i'm sure you'll love it.

While searching for places to stay on our way to Phoenix I came upon the Bronze Antler. It was a bit farther out of our way but the place looked so inviting that after a bit of thought we opted to try the Bronze Antler for 3 nights and just forget the trip to Phoenix. We weren't sure of what... More

My usual trips through Joseph are a pass through for back packing the Eagle Cap Wilderness but I knew of the Bronze antler but never stayed. This time we decided to stay in comfort. The stay exceeded our expectations with wonderful hosts, delicious meals and appointments in our room that were a wonderful surprise. From the B & B the... More

Obscure, out of the way and beautiful. Our first trip to the Wallowa Mountains was highlighted by our stay at the Bronze Antlers B&B. Despite living and travelling in the Pacific Northwest our entire lives, we had not visited this area. The scenery is out of a big budget Western movie with miles of cattle ranches, snow capped peaks and... More

My daughter and I paid our first visit to Joseph Oregon the week of March 26th 2015, as we'd prepared to do some horseback riding in and around the lake (Wallowa). After an internet search we landed on the Bronze Antler and decided to give it a shot. Boy what a great choice that was! Heather and Bill were excellent... More

It was such a treat to find this warm, gracious home on our travels through NE Oregon. Heather and Bill have thoughtfully foreseen every need and their home is comfortable while echoing a by-gone genteel era. The Bronze Antler sits on the edge of town and it is a short and pleasant walk to any shop or restaurant -- and... More

Heather T, Owner at Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast, responded to this review

Thanks very much for your review. One of the reasons we chose this location for the Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast was this home's close proximity to "downtown" Joseph (as downtown as one can be in a town of 1,100 people). Most everything in Joseph is located on Main Street and from the Bronze Antler B&B to the opposite end... More
