We spent five nights in Cabin #25. This cabin is close to everything except a good swimming hole. We walked to the gift shop, the campground, hiking trails and the go cart track. You have to drive to the other end of the lake for good lake access. The cabin was very comfortable for the four of us. Having a... More

My Wife, 8 year old Son, and I spent 3 nights in a cabin here earlier this week. The cabin was spacious, and very quiet. We loved the location of the resort in regards to access of the nearby state park, hiking trails, and nearby restaurants. The management was helpful, and gives you some space.

I had a family member who was renting a cabin in preparation for a wedding. We stopped by to check in and say hi prior to going to the wedding site. Since I am hearing impaired, I had my service dog with me (wearing his service dog vest). I was intercepted by the owner and told no dogs were allowed... More

This was our second stay at the Flying Arrow Resort. The first being some twenty years ago. We loved it then and loved it even more this time. The management and staff were as friendly and helpful as could be. Our cabin (#4) was clean and comfortable. The sliding glass door led out to a spacious deck overlooking the confluence... More

We had a studio cabin with a queen bed and it was very nice and comfortable with a full kitchen. The owners were right nearby and nice and didn't bother us at all (which sometimes owners can). It had flowers all around and you are in walking distance to the lake, tram, horseback riding, go-carts.

This is our second year in a row renting a cabin here on Memorial Day weekend and while the surrounding area is filled with unattended children everywhere including the roads and lots of people in general.... the flying arrow is so PEACEFUL! The rushing River sounds just out back of the cabins completely erases all the chaos of a holiday... More

I recently stayed in Cabin #5 with my aunt - we spent 3 nights there and found it to be a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen is small, but the porch is huge (and that's where we spent most of our time) and the bedrooms were just fine. Wi fi worked very well. The location is about 6 miles... More

We've stayed with Flying Arrow many times. They handle many of the cabins available for rent. Many are rustic but clean and comfortable. Cabin 14 is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that is the upstairs part of a duplex, the lower floor being the other part. Upper floor is better, as we had a full deck which wrapped... More

I spent one night in Cabin 12. The cabin itself was excellent: very tidy and comfy, with a nice little back deck for dining. I'd give the place 5 stars if it weren't for the go-kart track across the road, which emits an intermittent buzz well into the evening. My cabin was relatively far from the track compared with others,... More

My wife and I wanted to visit eastern Oregon, Joseph, Wallowa Lake, and ride the tram to the top of Mt Howard...and just relax. We had planned to stay in Joseph, but went on line looking for cabins and came across Fying Arrow Resort's site. What a great web site; loved the room photo gallery, links to all the attractions;...
