For years the lodge dining room has been closed from October until May. We heard they are staying open for breakfast on into the winter this year. We had the chief's special omelet with potatoes. Both were delicious and generous portions. The service was swift and attentive. The environment was relaxing and luxurious. The menu is being expanded to include... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin at the Lodge. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities a rustic cabin would be expected to have such as a working stove, a fridge, plenty of dishes and pans for cooking. The place was clean, comfortable and had a fireplace with lots of fuel for a fire. There are multiple... More

The lounge area in the lobby is awesome. Very comfortable with books and games to play. Our room was nice and clean. The bed was not the best, a little stiff. My wife and I had a great time here. Will definitely return when we are in the area.

Wallowa Lake lodge is a very charming, historical lodge built in 1923. Excellent location within walking distance of all the scenic and activity attractions in this area. The lodge staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered very good food and service.

We stumbled onto this place by accident. So grateful! It is like the old lodges in the National Park system. Beautiful lobby with large, soft leather couches, a large, beautiful fireplace and friendly staff. We enjoyed a steak dinner out on the deck. Delicious meal, with great service by Sareena. Our room was gorgeous. Instead of the usual hotel fare,... More

One step inside the lobby takes you back in time! The lobby is large and welcoming. The dining room is also nicely appointed. We had dinner & breakfast there during our stay. Both were very good (especially the vanilla cinnamon French toast). The rooms were nice....old, but clean & nice. I would definitely return.

The Wallowa Lake Lodge is a throwback to mountain retreats of times gone by and yet maintains nice comforts and charms for a relaxing getaway. We booked one of the balcony rooms facing the lake and it was well worth it. The views of the lake over the expansive back lawn with the sound of the river flowing by meant... More

This lodge is on the beautiful Wallowa Lake and starting point for hiking or just road walking. The rooms are very clean with firm beds and comfortable sizes. The food is excellent in the dinning room with large breakfast servings and dinner specials and a decent wine list or bring a fine bottle you prefer.. I was away from the... More

The Wallowa Lake Lodge has an old-fashioned feeling. The environment is beautiful with the Wallowa River running in front, then the lake. The lodge itself has a lovely lobby with lots of spaces for sitting quietly to read or just "be". We had two adjoining rooms, one with a queen and the other with twin beds. Because of the lodge's... We stayed in the Spruce cabin for two nights. It is small; only two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is rustic- not fancy but it is clean and has a kitchen and a deck with outdoor seating. We chose the cabin option because my husband and I were traveling with another couple. It was reasonably comfortable although there was only... More
