My girlfriend and I found this cute little motel in the northeastern corner of Oregon that is a diamond in the rough.
Imnaha is a town with a population of 12, this place feels like you just stepped back in time 60 years. I was actually kind of scared when we pulled up to the town store/tavern to check in to the motel, as it is looks like it's ready to fall down and was probably built in the early 1900's. We were a bit surprised to find out they dont take Visa and their is no ATM, luckily we had a checkbook with us, otherwise it would have been 35 miles back to Joseph. Wrote a check, had some dinner and were then directed up the road a few blocks to a large Park like area with picnic tables and at the back edge of the property is the Motel, looks like fairly new construction.
