My Mother and I had a wonderful experience at this B&B. The room was wonderfully decorated and comfortable. The house is beautiful, warm and inviting. We slept great at their comfy beds and enjoyed a tasty breakfast. The owner is a great host and made us feel at home. The location is very convenient and the views from the house... more

We spent two nights at Villa Columbia and couldn't have been more pleased. The innkeepers (Boba & VJ) invested a lot of work and money in the place and it shows. Our room was nicely appointed and more importantly, clean. Breakfast on both days more than met our expectations and the coffee was delicous (and we're coffee snobs). Off street... more

This charming and comfortable B&B is steps from downtown Hood River. Breakfasts are delicious; afternoon cookies and beverages an extra treat! We loved our room with a king-sized bed, fireplace and roomy bathroom with big tub--great for soaking after a vigorous hike. The lovely owner and her attentive staff make every effort to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. They... more

We recently stayed two nights (Wind River room, the only one with a kind bed) and actually wished we could have stayed one or two more. As others have noted, it is a good location to walk to downtown (just down the street) and to be 'home base' for sightseeing along the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, etc. The Inn... more

Villa Columbia is an elegantly beautiful property and provides a welcoming hospitality. Boba and her crew are a delight and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is enjoyable and memorable. The breakfasts served are on par with the five star restaurants. The rooms are so comfortable and clean (we stayed last year in August and... more

My hubby and I visited last year as a base for several Volkswalks and brought 6 friends with us this year for some hiking and fun. It was like coming home! Boba and her staff are so friendly and accommodating that we all felt very comfortable for our 3-night stay. It's an easy walk to great restaurants and the soaking... more

This very comfortable and very well-run B&B is within easy walking distance to downtown Hood River. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating and made our week-long visit an absolute pleasure. We'll definately be back! more

Our room (Hood River room) was very nice & comfortable, with direct access to the fabulous porch, excellent mattress and a huge, luxurious bathroom. While we were staying there, the innkeeper was out of town and left the running of the inn to some young women who appeared to be teenagers. The girls did the best they could, but their... more

It doesn't look wonderful from the outside-more like you're staying at a relative's place-but inside its full of charm! Nice touches throughout-comfortable sitting areas, like on the porch or upstairs-we had the pleasure of the White Salmon room - not over the top in furnishings but very, very clean with a great bath and furnished robes. Breakfast is superb with... more

We stayed one night in the Hood River Room and very much enjoyed the comfortable amenities and access to the porch with its views of the Columbia River. Boba is a wonderful and engaging host and her breakfast was superb. The facilities are beautiful and many restaurants and shops are within a short walk. Our great regret is that we... more
