We stayed 3 nights in cabin 1 and absolutely loved it. This is a beautiful location and we rode our bicycles to here from our house in Longview, WA over 3 days. Lost lake is rustic in the sense that it's not fancy lie if you want 5 star amenities. The toilets are shared out houses and you have to... More

We arrived at Lost Lake around 4:00 on Father's Day Sunday and immediately wondered if we'd made a terrible mistake in planning to camp here for 4 nights. It was a madhouse - people everywhere. I ran into the General Store to check into the campground (my husband drove around in search of a non-existent parking spot) , and found... More

We stayed in Cabin 5 and it was fantastic. The trees, lake, and views of mount hood are stellar. The staff is the general store was friendly and helpful. 3 miles of trails around the lake. kayak, canoe, paddleboard, and rowboat rentals. The cabins have power, but not running water or bathrooms, so be ready. Its a beautiful peaceful getaway.

We came to the camp at 5 pm and the booth to rent camping spots was already closed down. We drove down to the market inside the camp and they told us to go pick out a camping spot and we could pay $26 to stay the night. The camping spots are very private and have lots of trees around... More

Our family had a wonderful time in cabin #7 during the off season. I loved how we were able to complete the hike around the lake and not pass a single soul as well as having the lake to ourselves with the rowboats. World class beauty and views cozy cabin and accomodating staff. Looking forward to returning soon.

New owner said they're going to make it better for everyone! They just made a corporate! Now you have to reserve a campsite, A cabin for three nights is $425, really why would you go camping! They have teenagers manning the boat ramp, allowing everyone to swim in your way, people sunbathing on the boat ramp dock, people parking on... More

We were staying in Hood River and decided to go on a day trip to Lost Lake to say goodbye to this beautiful hot weather we have had in the Northwest this year . Lovely drive & wonderful day in the sun . Camping above lake in the park though not anywhere around waters edge We paid $7 to drive... More

We rented cabin number six and were severely disappointed. No running water, no bathroom, no sink and no furniture other than the two beds and a wooden table in the "living" space. Not a single chair. The place was dingy and had a dirty carpet on the floor. The kitchen was totally under stocked for any kind of meal preparation.... More

My husband and I tent camped here for a few weeknights in June 2014. We agree with the other positive reviews. It was a little tough to find due to all the small backroads, but there were a few signs to help us, and we were SO glad that we did. We found it to be a clean, quiet, neat... More

I went here because of the lake side camp sites; we wanted to fish, and set up chairs and spend most of our time in or near the water while still being at camp...i stayed at F-loop site 28--the ones you pay $5 more for. However there is a walking trail around the entire lake that cuts through, so your... More
