It takes a while to get here and there's a dirt road that has severe washboard problems. When you eventually arrive there's a day use fee to hike around the lake if you're not camping (I believe it was $5 or $10). When we were finally on the "trail" half of it was a wooden boardwalk around the lake surrounded by... More

One of the most beautiful areas in the world. The lake and views surrounding it are incredible! Some of the cabins appear to be remodeled. Cabin 6 had two bedrooms with VERY comfortable queen beds. The wood stove with firewood provided was important on a chilly and rainy weekend. Otherwise the cabin needed work done to it. Most windows had... More

We just returned from a one night stay at Lost Lake. After looking at the weather forecast indicating likelihood for rain, we reserved a lodge room, rather than risk camping in the rain. The cabins were all booked up. This was a good decision, since it rained steadily for the two days we were there. The lodge rooms were clean... More

Although there was a sign a couple of miles from the campground saying it was full, we took the risk and drove up, which turned out to be a good decision, as there were plenty sites to choose from. We were lucky to have great weather while camping here, which helped make our stay a pretty good one. Our site... More

Lost Lake Resort is a beautiful place to visit it has great views and the lake is wonderful. The campground is wonderful and relaxing. There is plenty of picnic areas for day use, however the service is not that great and had terrible experience last time I visited. I sent an email to the resort explaining the lack of customer... We specifically went looking for this campground to get a picture of Mt Hood reflecting in the lake. The area is beautiful and the lake spectacular, lots of folks were using the campground but no one seemed crowded. it did cost us $3 to get in, even though we explained we only wanted to get pictures but the fee was... The Lost Lake Resort and Campground has been there for over 40 years. At one time the Lost Lake road was gravel, but now it's paved, as is the entire campground. We had a camping trailer, but while there is water in the campground, there are no hookups. There are plenty of pit toilets. The campground was well-kept. On my... More
