I felt at home the minute I walked in the door. I was traveling for business and arrived late and Nylsa and Tracy were waiting for me. After they showed me to my room I was asked to come upstairs and have ice cream with them. My room was so pretty, one of those ah moments when I saw it,... More

It is big, magestic, beautiful and homey all at the same time. Was like going home, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. the beds were comfortable and the bedrooms really big. we enjoyed a glass of wine, good conversation, the hot tub. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Kids enjoyed themselves too! We liked it better than the polar... More

A beautiful view from your room of Mt Hood, and great breakfast - Very hand spit on the way to Mt Hood, right off hwy 35 Close enough to town, to enjoy all of the Hood River activities -- A great location and great home style breakfast

We had a great stay at this beautiful log home tucked in off the road with a Mt Hood view. (When the clouds cooperate). Comfortable bed, good company, yummy breakfast. A little hard to find in the dark.

Our first impression when we arrived to celebrate our anniversary getaway…. Trash bags on the front porch. Beds not made. (And we are certain they didn't change the sheets) Food left out in the kitchen. Bugs everywhere inside the cabin. (Stink Bugs, Spiders, Etc.) I actually stepped on a hornet wasp and got stung in my foot! Then our first... More

Our stay at Bigfoot Lodge was very disappointing and not worth the money. The lodge is beautiful, the views of Mount Hood are stunning, there are a lot of good things about this place but the hospitality was lacking. I emailed the owners with my feedback but they never replied. We knew there would be no one to meet us... More

My wife and I stayed in the John Wayne Room for a week. What a wonderful time. The host Nilsa was super friendly full of advice to make our visit to the area enjoyable. The breakfast was hardy; you never left the table feeling like you needed more food. We enjoyed the claw foot tub especially since this reminded us... More

Not many reviews on Trip Advisor so we were a little cautious of our choice to stay here, but it ended up being fantastic! Not sure why more people haven't written reviews. There are 4 rooms total, we stayed in the John Wayne room. We had a private bathroom and semi-private deck. Our deck had a perfect view of Mt.... More

Was weird, would be the best way to describe this visit. Arrived and no one there to greet us...no information about which rooms were which. Bathrooms are not private, cleanliness is mediocre at best, doors are left open, towels and linens are musty. We were left keys for our rooms but discovered that keys opened other guest rooms and not... More

So many "misses"--misinformed, misled, misrepresented-- with the Bigfoot Lodge that I feel compelled to warn others. We were assured by Nilsa and Mike (the owners) that our room would have a private bathroom and parking available adjacent to our room. Instead, our "private" bathroom was not connected to our room but rather around the corner and down the hall. The... More
