We actually stayed there in 2010 but haven't written a review. It was a beautiful place, the breakfast was good and the location was great. It's a short walk to "Downtown" Hood River and all the shops, restaurants and bars.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Inn at the Gorge in the Master Bedroom. Frank welcomed us in and showed us the choice of rooms that he had available and we settled on this one. It has a lovely big comfortable bed and is nice and quiet, so we had some great sleeps. Breakfast is around a large dining... More

We stayed one night for a short hiking trip to Mt. Hood. The B&B was less expensive than most of the hotels in the area and included a wonderful, hearty breakfast. The location is on a quiet side street but within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. The rooms and bathrooms were... More

Very beautiful area. Quaint downtown. Frank was a very hospitable host. Gourmet breakfast which all guests agreed, including ourselves, raved about. Little extras like pistachios and port wine in the evening. All recommendations were on the mark. We had the master bedroom and it was very spacious with a Full Bathroom. Overall very well done and we would definitely return!

What a B&B! This was a great place and one we glad we stayed at while in Hood River. Frank and Michele are great hosts. They gave us many ideas for dinner and things to do in the area. We had the garden suite (smallest room) and was surprised at how big the whole room was. We had a great... More

Perfect after a long day of hiking. Felt like we were staying at a friends house. We had our own door to come and go. Great recommendation of where to eat. Amazing tub with jets great after hiking! Breakfast was warm and filling: yogurt and fruit, juice, coffee, overnight oatmeal soaked in buttermilk pancakes with bananas and turkey bacon! Great!!!

Immediately upon walking through the doors of Inn at the Gorge, we felt as though we stepped back in time. This 100+-year old grand house had such incredible charm. I loved all of the nooks and crannies, decades-old fixtures and time-warn furnishings. The location was fantastic because it was only a few short blocks to downtown. And the breakfast the... More

I've stayed at many places over the years in Hood River, some good, some bad. But I found the Inn at the Gorge a few years back and I've never stayed anywhere else since. Unlike some B & B's where the innkeepers make you feel like you are intruding in their home, Frank and Michele are very low key, you... More

We have often stayed here and are never disappointed. The Inn Keepers, Frank and Michele are very accommodating and their breakfasts are delicious. Fruits done in all kinds of ways with great combinations and baked goodies....like dessert before the main course. Plenty to eat!!! We love the Master Suite, which has a king bed and big bathroom, and the Terrace... More
