The rooms are clean and large. Just not fancy. It is a motel. Ask for a room in the building along the river and the top floor. Balcony overlooks the whole area. Beautiful view. Convenient to all the activities in the area.

I stayed there with family while in the area to attend a wedding. The rooms we had were fairly new and very clean. They came with a mini coffee maker, small frig (no freezer compartment and I never did locate the ice machines) and a very small microwave. That was the extent of the amenities. There was no hot tub,... More

Thanks for your review, sorry we couldn't offer everything you were looking for. We can't access the river from where we are because we're on top of a 200 foot cliff overlooking the river. There is an access road down at the end of our street, as well as the new Riverfront Park toward downtown. There are 3 restaurants next... More

The complex is on a surprisingly large treed property adjacent to the Colombia Gorge Hotel, so you get all the benefits of the views for half the price. The rooms were a little dated, but very clean and comfortable and had fridge and microwave to make up for it. You are a little ways out of town here so you'll... More

We took a chance after reading reviews on the location of this lovely little motel. It reminded me of the places my family stayed at when I was a kid as we travelled from CA to Tx. No frills just funky and cool little rooms right near the cliff overlooking the gorge. Like staying at a families summer house ...... More

We stumbled upon this place and was very pleased with what we found. Although it seemed a little dated it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The view outside the window looking down into the Columbia River was awesome. We also enjoyed seeing the beautiful flowers and the park-like setting. They were pet friendly and we loved having... We reserved the beautifully landscaped venue area that overlooks the Columbia River for our pre-wedding cocktail party. It was the perfect choice since most all of our wedding guests were staying here anyway. It was FABULOUS... Everyone loved it and the delicious food was catered by the nearby White Buffalo Wine Bistro. Thank you, thank you again to the whole... More

While the property is older than some of the competition, everything was well-maintained and spotless. I really liked the view of the Columbia River from my room and balcony. If my travels take me back to this area I would definitely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in one of the rooms in the building on the bluffs, with a good view of the Columbia River from our second floor balcony. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and parking access easy. The price was very reasonable. Having to drive a few minutes to get downtown was definitely worth it... More

I really wanted to love this place, but we paid more for a balcony room only to be given a room basically at ground level with a (at best) so-so view of the gorge. The room was dated and a bit dingy, with a stain on the carpet greeting us just inside the door. The bathroom setup was awkward -... More

Thanks for your review and feedback! We've got a few updates planned and on order to update our rooms more, thanks for bringing those things to our attention. Some guests like the sink and tub to be separate, so one person can get ready while another is in the shower, but that's not for everyone. Our new building has (very)... More

I am a regular Vagabond customer. I keep returning because of the excellent and consistent service, dependably clean and well appointed rooms, and the setting. Last night I was fortunate to be able to say in one of their newly constructed rooms. The room was spacious, a/c and bathroom fans quiet, the dual shower heads very cool, and king bed... More

Thanks for your review and for staying with us! I'll check into shading the transom window from that morning light, and getting some more extra pillows to have in those King rooms. We have a few more touches for our rooms on the way as well. Thanks again and see you next time! More
