Husband booked this nice surprise for me and the dog for valentines day weekend. Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast-Served at the bar with fresh pastries and they will make you and espresso drink. The staff was very friendly. The location is right on! It is close to all the breweries. The dog really liked his SWAG bag. Cons: The... More

We stayed in 303 which is a river view room. Queen bed. Very comfortable. Hotel is right in walking distance to shops, railroad, restuarants. Continental breakfast. People were friendly. Would stay again.

This is not fancy but it is pleasant and comfortable. The staff is very nice. It is very conveniently located downtown within walking distance to restaurants, wine tasting rooms, shopping, Hood River Railroad station and breweries. Wind-surfing, hiking, snow sports nearby. Nice scones, yogurt, juice, etc. provided for breakfast. The rooms vary greatly, so check on-line and/or call the hotel... More

We stayed here on New Year day for 1 night. This is a remodeled hotel in downtown Hood River. We enjoyed the old rooms, we had a room over looking the river. The bathroom was small but the space well used. The lobby had a wood fire going & a few couches for people to enjoy the fire. They had... More

Great location to just park your car on arrival, then spend your time walking, shopping, and eating. Lovely historic building with comfy modern updates. Friendly staff. We stayed during a mild fall weekend; no air conditioning, but we were comfortable with the ceiling fan going and the window cracked open. They used to have a great little restaurant for breakfast,... More

This is a really cool old hotel upgraded with modern amenities. In a perfect downtown location, within walking distance of all the cool shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As with most older buildings you can hear a lot but they have fans and ionizers in the rooms for your comfort and disposable ear plugs is one... More

I picked the Hood River hotel because my wife and I were looking for a place to stay in Hood River that allowed dogs. I saw HRH listed on bringfido and decided to check them out. We were staying an odd weekend, Sun/Mon and found out all rooms are $100 on Sunday night! It was a steal for the awesome... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is 100 years old but has been nicely restored. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving dinner recommendations. We took advantage of the discount and ate our breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed it very much. Some folks have mentioned the train noise but we didn't hear it, even though... More

Although they could not accomodate early check in we enjoyed walking the town.(purchase the parking pass first at hotel) Room 104 was small ,facing the river, but also the train tracks.(did not discover the ear plugs till morning) The best parts for us were...location,friendly staff, historic common area, and a great breakfast next door. Panoramic Point (5 min drive) has a... More
