Windows don't open. Fan was loaded with dust. Frig needed defrosting. No counterspace in bathroom for toiletries. No plug ins for chargers. No taxi information. No pricing for courtesy items in frig. Stale ice in ice machine (ew!). Loose fiberglass visible from some strange partial walls in the unit I stayed in. Coffee maker would not work (thank god for... More

We had a week-long stay in one of the lofts. The unit we had was nothing like the photos on the website. It seemed like a 'bait and switch'. The main floor was more like a slightly worn cabin. Hard (cement?) painted floor with no rugs made the space echo. The full kitchen is stocked well enough to prepare simple... More

Our daughter and son-in-law recently moved to the Portland area and live in a condo in Orenco Station. We wanted to stay as close as possible to their new home and found this gem within walking distance. The hotel is located in converted brownstones in a beautiful area with a nearby park, shops, and restaurants. The area is very safe,... More

This little hotel is hard to find, because they don't allow signage up high on the buildings in this Orenco Station neighborhood, but it is super cute, and felt like I was in Boston! Across the street is a HUGE park, and a great neighborhood with shaded sidewalks for strolling. One block away are several nice restaurants (ethnic and american),... More

What a great place to stay! I loved staying at the Orenco and can't wait to go back. Typical corporate hotels can be nice but they all run together. The difference between a mid-quality and high quality chain hotel is simply a difference of degrees. The Orenco really is a unique experience. Nestled into brownstone townhomes the hotel grants you... More

First impressions...great way to check in. We were in our room in 5 minutes. Great neighborhood with things to do, places to eat, stores to see, and convenient shopping for all needs. Back at the room-oh my gosh. (I took pictures and I intend to post, but I wanted to get this review up right away.). Before bags unpacked and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here while my family stayed at our home. What a treat for us! The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The neighborhood is super cute and we were able to walk to dinner and Starbucks in the morning. The staff was super friendly when we checked in and let us know... More

Broken coffee maker. Thin walls No hot water. As with typical modern American construction, it looks good on the outside, but is poorly designed for a hotel. It was probably intended as a condo or apartment before being made into a hotel. Also, poor lighting. If you are going to put coffee makers in the room, you should make sure... More

I stayed at the Orenco for two nights on a business trip and this was my first experience here. It's an interesting concept, kind of like a self-service B&B without any hosts. The "lobby" was a small living room with a couch, TV, fireplace, sideboard with breakfast items and a small desk with a computer and printer. There were two... More

Had a great first stay at The Orenco. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and very quiet. Weather was very warm but the room was nice and cool. Lovely sunset viewed on the balcony. Look forward to enjoying again!
