We stayed at this park for 5 nights in Dec. 2014. We had made reservations and pre-paid for our stay. On Christmas eve a staff person came to our RV and told us we needed to pay an additional $25. fee for Christmas day. ( which we were not told about when we pre-paid or checking in ) We asked... OK by looking at other reviews I have come to the conclusion that it depends on what you are looking for as to wether this will be for you or not. First, this is a public harbour run rv park. It is not fancy it has adequate sites with good services. It is big rig friendly. We did not use... More

Kind of surprised of some of the comments....I did my first RV trip up the coast of California and Oregon and this was by far (besides the Redwoods) the best that we stayed at. And we stayed at some fancy RV parks that were nice, but we loved this place! We were meeting my Dad staying in the hotel next... More

We checked in on a Friday knowing it could be a busy place...so we just winged it and went in not knowing what we were getting our selves into. We were put in dirt parking lot ( the gravel pit as we called it) with no hooks up at $28 bucks. It was oddly a public park to. I went... More

Paid for a week in advance;. Ocean conditions were horrible for fishing so decided to come home early;. Asked for a credit of some sort and the 2 women in the office took great pleasure in telling me NO;. The women were snippy and rude when I checked in and rude when I checked out;. The whole RV park is... More

Before I made the reservation I was skeptical because there are ZERO photographs of the "tent spots" online. When I arrived I went directly to the check in lobby where I walked in on the hostess and a customer arguing with each other and the customer was wanting a refund for two nights that he pre-paid for but didn't want.... This RV park has such a wonderful location right on the beach that for many years it was one of our favourite coastal RV parks -- even with the mildly annoying public drive in front. But, they have some problems now :-( First, the TV system. Okay, this is not their fault, it's **Charter Cable's fault. There is now some... More

Here is the deal...the views are spectacular and that is what you are paying for. At $41 a night, there are certain things that I look for. Wifi is one and it is poor here. The sites are ugly and in fact the entire place is sort of dumpy. There are foxtails up and down the trail where everyone walks... More

Very nice views and sounds of the ocean, but during the day it can be noisy with the local traffic. There is a road between the sites and the water, but it does quiet down at night and the sunsets are amazing! Good place to stay for the hookups and location to the beach and harbor area. The bathrooms/laundry room... More

If it were not for the ocean this place would be bad. Narrow sites, poor WIFI and an office staff not friendly. The web site does not tell you that the ocean front sites are only 30 amp. The office does not tell you until you try to plug into the 50 amp and go down to ask. BUT, the... More
