The Officers Inn is a very different B&B. All the military paraphenalia might be threatening to some people, but the history is fascinating. This place doesn't have all the small amenities that one expects at a first class B&B, but a night there is a good experience.

We stayed two nights at the Officer's Inn in Hammond. There is an absolutely hysterical guidebook that's somewhat fact and somewhat tongue and cheek. We laughed until we cried reading it! That was, though, the highlight of the Officer's Inn. They do have family sized suites with 2 or 3 beds, so it is an okay and affordable option for... More

We enjoyed our stay...The sit down breakfast with all the guests was something we haven't experienced before.. Though we learned of some sites along the way down the coast .... Comfortable beds and lots of hot water...Very welcoming

Stayed here in November of 2009. Its a very cute historical victorian style home. The family who owns it was welcoming and great to speak with, She even had some snacks and Officer Inn wine waiting for us when we arrived! The beds were very comfy.
