My husband and I stayed at this motel on our way to San Francisco. Our plan was to drive as far as possible and find somewhere to stay . We made it to Grants Pass and after driving around, finally decided to try the Redwood Motel because it was so cheap. I was extremely apprehensive as the word "motel" only... more

I stayed at the Redwood Motel the week before Christmas on business. The room I was offered was one in from the major road (3 lanes wide). We stayed at the Redwood Motel on a lark after having circled through the town looking for a place to stay. It was a busy summer weekend, so when we asked at the front desk whether there were any rooms free, the only ones available were the "suites" with a kitchenette, dining area, and 2-person whirlpool tub.
