We stayed here one night prior to a lower Rogue rafting trip. It was perfect for our needs. We were in one of the cabins. The accommodations are rustic (as in kind of old but not fashionably so). This is the only place to stay within about 45 minutes. Parking was beneath the room. My guess is the rooms are... More

We spent an afternoon and night here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was in the lodge above the kitchen area. Lots of noise from the kitchen and outside areas until 11pm. Started in again around 6 am. A cabin might have been better except there was a lot of highway noise. Rafting and fishing seasons were still going... More

We recently spent three nights here because we wanted to fish the Rogue. First: the fishing experience, which we arranged through the lodge, was outstanding. Our guide Pablo was the consummate expert, and made the two days' fishing the best it could have been (even in 100 degree heat). We also appreciated his encyclopedic knowledge of the river and its... We stayed here prior to a rafting trip in June, based on the recommendation of the outfitter. We were so pleased that we went out of our way to go back on our trip to drop off our daughter at college. (Fortunately, our visits were before and after the fire.) We had a cabin in June and a lodge room... More

You have the feeling of being in a large log cabin. Zane Grey stayed here. Dinner was out on a terrace - a lovely meal of rack of lamb with all the trimmings. Right on the Rogue River, but accessible by car.

Our first night at Morrison's Rogue River Lodge was spent in Tuck Away 3 loft cabin with our deck over-looking Taylor Creek. We had an orientation meeting for the raft trip & dinner at the lodge. We packed a small duffle bag for the 3 day trip & launched our rafts at 9AM in perfect weather. The first night we... More

We stayed here before and after a raft trip. Expensive for the space but clean. Skip the restaurant as it was $150 for three of us and even though we told them one gluten free they would bring me something and then take it back because it wasn't gluten free. Very expensive for just OK food. Go down the road... More

I decided to surprise my husband and stay somewhere other than a place just off the freeway as we traveled to Seattle. I booked one night at Morrison's on the second floor of the lodge instead of a cabin since we didn't need anything larger. By the time we had driven 6 hours we were hot and worn out. We... More

The best thing about this lodge is the setting and view. We took a bottle of wine across the expansive lawn to the adirondack chairs, and enjoyed the view. The accommodations were disappointing as was the lodge itself. Dinner was good but not worth $40/person. The staff was friendly.
