I recently stayed here and this was a nice place. I would recomment getting a room not facing the traffic. They have Bath & Body Works toiletries, and breakfast was nice. I had dinner at the Timberline and found that place to be confusing. This place was nice, smaller and priced right. This place, like most places in Oregon, are... more

Arrived in appalling weather and found only a few others staying here. The room, amenities, reception, secure parking etc were excellent and we thought our "managers special" was a good deal at about $107. more

We thought we wanted to stay at the Timberline Lodge but found the rates there a little stiff ($175/night and up, plus breakfast and taxes). So we booked the Mt. Hood Inn. Upon arrival at Mt. Hood, we checked out both places (actually looked at rooms) and decided that the "only" choice was the Mt. Hood Inn. Our stay there... more

Wonderful hotel, it's unfortunate that our trip to visit our son was marred by an extraordinarily unfriendly employee. The groundskeeper or maintenance employee taking care of the lawn was extremely rude. Insulting our son and kicking him off the property while he was waiting for us. Later in our stay, after switching rooms due to road noise which is a... more

Thank you to all the reviewers who directed us to Mt Hood Inn. The place is actually much quainter than their tacky sign and logo (70's ski joint) would have you believe. The staff were helpful and professional, not gushy, but professional. Our room near the highway seemed loud, so we switched to the other side of the building and... more

I spent 3 nights at the Mt Hood Inn while visiting my son who is working in Government Camp for the summer. Check in was very quick and the staff very friendly. I had some noisy neighbors in the first room I was assigned to and the front desk had no problem changing me to a different room right away.... more

The hotel is not fancy, but it's clean and nice and a great place to come back to after a day in the snow. They have free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby all day and night. They have DVD players and DVDs to rent. Government Camp is beautiful in the winter and if you are going to... more

When I made my reservations online I was given government rate of $85 plus tax for the night. Unfortunately I did not print out the webpage with the rates. When I checked out I was very shocked to be charged $179, including tax. This is more than double the rate I expected to pay! To be quite frank, I feel... more

We stayed here for only one night, but it would be a great place to stay for an extended stay. The room was very nicely furnished with pine furniture. It had a countertop area (separate from the bathroom) with a sink, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. (Only negative for us was that the microwave kept overloading the circuit so we... more

Adequate accomodations near Mt. Hood and good value when compared to the Timberline Lodge. Brewpub next door had great beer and food, but service was marginal! Clean, friendly staff and nicely decorated. more
