The place is very well located and cozy. Continental breakfast from 6-10am includes bagels, muffins, egg burritos, fruit, donuts, cereal and you can have all day coffee, hot chocolate, orange/passionfruit juices, tea. Loved it! We got a room with a hot tub and was perfect! I think is al ittle bit over priced though. The rooms are very basic and... more

When I stay at hotels, I always make reservations early, and I compare prices online. When booking my stay at Mt Hood Inn, I called ahead and mentioned a discounted rate I had found through an online vendor and they matched it - so we wound up spending <$90/night. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds (also a... more

I found this to be a clean, friendly hotel, but a bit overpriced. We were on our way through Government Camp and decided to stay the night, and choose this hotel because they take pets and we were traveling with our dogs. The lobby is large with a big TV and lots of movies, books, board games, and puzzles to... more

We stayed at the Mt. Hood Inn in July of 2009. My husband was going on a guided climb up the mountain, so we needed to stay in the area the night before his trip began. The Mt. Hood Inn was close by, and it was a nice hotel, but it seemed expensive to us for what you get. It... more

I recently stayed here and this was a nice place. I would recomment getting a room not facing the traffic. They have Bath & Body Works toiletries, and breakfast was nice. I had dinner at the Timberline and found that place to be confusing. This place was nice, smaller and priced right. This place, like most places in Oregon, are... more

Arrived in appalling weather and found only a few others staying here. The room, amenities, reception, secure parking etc were excellent and we thought our "managers special" was a good deal at about $107. more

We thought we wanted to stay at the Timberline Lodge but found the rates there a little stiff ($175/night and up, plus breakfast and taxes). So we booked the Mt. Hood Inn. Upon arrival at Mt. Hood, we checked out both places (actually looked at rooms) and decided that the "only" choice was the Mt. Hood Inn. Our stay there... more

Wonderful hotel, it's unfortunate that our trip to visit our son was marred by an extraordinarily unfriendly employee. The groundskeeper or maintenance employee taking care of the lawn was extremely rude. Insulting our son and kicking him off the property while he was waiting for us. Later in our stay, after switching rooms due to road noise which is a... more

Thank you to all the reviewers who directed us to Mt Hood Inn. The place is actually much quainter than their tacky sign and logo (70's ski joint) would have you believe. The staff were helpful and professional, not gushy, but professional. Our room near the highway seemed loud, so we switched to the other side of the building and... more
