The rooms are clean and pretty quiet and the management friendly. The price is about the same (with pets) but might be a better option than motel 6 since it's a single story and possibly a bit quieter plus it's walking distance to downtown stores whereas motel 6 is further away.

The owner was very friendly, helped select the quietest room available, the motel was roomy and clean inside (I like the wood floors), free wi-fi, Tv worked great, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was great, I will stay here again.

Directly across the street from the beach, easy walking beach access. Extremely clean and well maintained room. Mr. Paten, ( behind the front desk), was very cheerful, pleasant and had a fun laughable personality. He didn't even get mad at us when our gear in the truck struck his 7 foot breezeway. He said it happens all the time. We... More

Stayed in August with family of four. I'm naturally thrifty but don't usually stay in cheaper lodging because I'm nervous about other guests being sketchy. Not at. Motel 101, just other thrifty people like myself. Would stay here again, room was clean and had a fridge and microwave and cable tv. Furnishings were up to date, bathroom was straight up... More

The new face of the old Western Village Motel of the 1960's. It is certainly not the Ritz but a good hotel if your not expecting the little extras. The rooms are clean, the furnishings are a bit dated and the walls are a bit thin but I like this motel. A good budget motel without the frills.

Arrived in good spirits - nice owner, bright, clean rooms, flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, nice location, great price. Had we found the perfect motel? At 9pm we discovered that unfortunately we had not. Two men, one of whom had an extremely loud, booming bass voice, checked in next door and it wasn't until I banged on the wall at... More

This hotel is clean and basic and excellent value. Great as a car journey one-night stop. The manager is friendly. For the money, they even provide coffee and oatmeal at breakfast time. I would stay here again.

The motel is on the main road, within easy walking distance of restaurants, stores and other services. Our room was drab, with a purple wall, and the energy saving bulbs did little to improve that. But both the room and bathroom were very clean. As others mentioned, the walls are very thin and we heard the person snoring loudly in... More

Great price, great room, amazing service! The room was clean, smelled nice, and was well stocked with a huge bed (very firm, but I like it that way) and television. My family was just passing through and needed a place to stay the night, we arrived around 9pm, after the office had closed. The owner wasn't there when I arrived... More

We live by a river but a walk on the beach with the supplied coffee and taking the dog was a treat for us. Very clean well kept older motel with pink 60s bath tub and 40+ inch flat screen, microwave, and fridge . Beds are fine , We had absolutely no issues. The beach access is across the street... More
