We were at Turtle Rock at the end of July for our son's wedding on Aug. 2nd There were 58 people at the wedding and most of them stayed in the cozy cabins at turtle rock and then we had the reception in the hall. The staff were excellent especially Nancy who helped with the organization of the event. We... More

My girlfriend and I are new to trailer camping and set off for a long weekend "shake down" trip w/ our restore 1962 Terry "canned ham" travel trailer. Didn't want to wonder too far from home so we found Turtle Rock Resort on line and were able to secure a nice camp site for 3 nights. This RV park is... More

Great place to stay near the beach. You can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. That part was great. I do have a couple of things you may want to consider. I was not impressed with their desire to have me move my spot for another traveler when we made reservations 8 months ago. The cottages, which... More

We spent four days here recently. My in laws rented an RV site, we had a lodge with our family of 4, and my sister-in-law's family had a cabin too. We loved our time there! We walked down to the beach a couple of times with our kids, and although it was windy we had a good time. The kids... More

Can't say enough good stuff about Turtle Rock Resort. Rented both the large home, a cottage, and RV sites to accommodate our group. Community building provided perfect space for gathering for meals, games and gossip, the wonderful kitchen(s) was the perfect spot for preparation, and the grounds are clean, well-kept, and comfortable without being "gussy". The owners and staff are... More

We have stayed at Turtle Rock multiple times over the past 2 years. Our last trip (Valentine's Day weekend) was the most memorable. We rented a RV spot with a jacuzzi tub for the weekend. The weather forecast was for heavy rains and winds and it did not lie. We were having a great time and decided to go in... More

My staff and I thought you were wonderful. You had a great attitude even though your dog locked you out of your RV. We were very glad we could be of help to you and certainly enjoyed sharing lots of laughs with you. We look forward to your next visit. We can laugh together about the last one! More

We are so lucky we chose this RV park. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The went above and beyond any expectations. Daniel Dresser, an employee of the park, help us and made sure we were always doing okay, knowing we were new to the RV experience. The office staff was kind and so considerate. Always ready to assist... More

We stayed 9 days in 2 different sites. We had a hot tub site (30, I believe) and a river site (54). The hot tub site was fantastic! Very private, lots of trees and shrubs, and lawn space for your family and dogs. Having the hot tub was worth the extra cost!!! Site 54 had a beautiful view of Hunter... More

This is our 2nd time here in a 40 ft motohome/vehicle in tow. 5 minutes to the beach with tons of gravel/rock/agate/driftwood hunting! Loved the Turtle Rock-"kodak" moment for sure! The roads are gravel but well maintained, staff friendly, they provide "pet stations" throughout the park with bags and disposal sites. A few 'view sites", mostly cottages but it you... More
