The staff is very friendly, our room is clean and freshly painted with a mix of older and newer decor. The view is the real star here. Unless you're planning a long stay where you'll want a kitchen opt for the 4th floor if you can. It's a great spot to look out over the ocean.

A last minute trip to Gold Beach, we popped into the Gold Beach Inn on a Thursday afternoon. While we aren't smokers, we did take a smoking room on the 100 level, ocean view. It was so beautiful we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun sinking into the Pacific. After dinner, we took advantage of their hot... More

Well, that explains the name of our bed in room 201. The very spendy, room 201. At over $170 a night, including taxes, we expected at least an average comfortable bed. The king bed would have been great for my husband and I to sprawl on after a long day in the little city, but we constantly ended up rolling... More

This family-owned and -run place is the best of both world: standards up to date, but a sense that the real work of running an accommodation like this is conscientiously undertaken by caring people. (All the static of criticism, possibly coming from the inferior competition, is sad and degrades the TripAdvisor experience.) It was hot when we arrived -- unusual... More

As we walked into the office, we were greeted by a very fast talking "check-in" woman. As she was checking us in, she tried to make us pay $164.00 but the amount I was guaranteed online special was $145.99 plus tax, which I was told would be $159.00, not knowing at the moment what the tax actually was but I... I was kind of afraid to spend much time on the deck.. it felt like it was tilting towards the water a little bit. Not to the point of unsafe, but it was kinda small and I just wasn't a fan. Bed itself was comfy and the updated fixtures were nice. Wasn't too terribly expensive. They gave us a 15%... More

Our breakfast room has 6 tables in three different rooms. We also have a large outside table. This is usually more than enough seating. We serve French toast, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, whole wheat toast, English muffins, and hot freshly made hard boiled eggs with orange juice, milk and coffee. Most of our customers are very polite. The decks... More

The Gold Beach Inn is found on the oceanfront and is close to a gas station and restaurants. It's a family run Inn that does a good job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. You have to pick up the phone and call them directly to book your room. No on,ine bookings. If you are looking for luxury this... More

The staff is very kind. This was a last minute booking and the gentleman who helped me was very accommodating. As others have mentioned, the views from the "inn" are amazing, but the room itself was not clean at all. We spent as little time as we could in the room. Family of four, none of us felt comfortable showering... More

This review is written by my competitor. We, by far, look the best from the street in Gold Beach. My competitor does not. This review is designed to have you discount new triple sheeting as we have this on our marquee. Triple sheeting guarantees everything you touch in the bed is freshly laundered. My competitor does not have triple sheeting.... More

The Gold Beach Inn is where I always stay when I make a trip to the Oregon Coast. I normally plan my trip so that Gold Beach is where I will spend the night. Nice hotel, clean comfortable room, very friendly staff.

We found the hotel staff to be very helpful. The breakfast bar was good for me as I like fruit and yogurt, however my husband prefers a more substantial breakfast so we did eat out the second day. The rooms are ok, however they have great views on the oceanfront and the hot tubs on the beach make this a... More
