We stayed in economy room # 116. It was clean, but very small and the walls paper thin. There was no AC so needed to sleep with the window open. This would not have been a problem, except that our window had no screen. This made me feel very vulnerable and unsafe. I noted that the other economy rooms did... More

We stayed in the family suite. This is a HUGE place and the same price as the other rooms. Two full size beds in one room with a flat screen tv, a huge walk in closet (bigger than my kitchen. I do have a small kitchen..lol), a long hallway down to the main area with a king size bed, a... More

I'd rather sleep in the open bed of my truck, in a rain storm, in the dead of winter, before going back to this place! Booked an "Oceanview" room for our 47th anniversary! The room was 20 feet with a "lawned area", to the stairs to the beach which was constantly used as a pet toilet and a designated smoking... More

We are her now.. Celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Booked a balcony room.. Hoping to sit out and listed to the ocean. Instead, we got the county fair going on next door.. And had to listen to screaming kids , and loud ride noises that totally drowned out the sound of the ocean... Very upsetting!!

Not sure where to begin...but we were supposed to stay for two nights and checked out after only one. Room 106 is tiny, has no air con and to get air you need the windows open but then have to deal with the traffic noise; apparently it's common for places on the coast not to have A/C. The room was... Had an upstairs view room which was fabulous. The room was clean and basic but the view from your balcony is the thing. Only drawback is that it is a long walk to the ice machine at the far end of the hotel in another building. Has a refrigerator and good Wi Fi. Some little things were off. Light bulb,... More

We had 3 comfortable night in a larger room with an ocean view and a balcony with 2 rockers that looked out on the beach. Room also had a fridge and coffee maker and microwave. Very clean, and a good base from which to travel north or south along the beautiful coast of southern Oregon. Staff was helpful and friendly.... More

Room was basic, but clean and the price was amazing during the peak season. The walls however are very thin and you can hear your neighbors every move. I was glad that they allowed pets and that they were located right next to the beach.

the Pacific Reef was recommended by the bride's family as a place to stay while visiting Gold Beach for a wedding. My son and I stayed 3 nights in an economy room with two Q beds. The room was large and very clean. Everything looked fresh and clean, which is hard to do so near the ocean. Although we did... More

Seeing good internet reviews, we booked a two-night anniversary stay here. The Beach Lover' s Cottage seemed like the perfect place. However, though certainly not the hotel's fault, wildfires in OR had the incdent station set up right next to the cottage. We had to tolerate the sounds not of the ocean at night, but rather generators and semi truck... More
