Whilst this hotel is quite dated, the price is low and the beds comfortable. Friendly staff and a basic breakfast. For the $40 we paid it was great. Recommend to budget travellers. It is right on the 101, but the traffic noise was quite low.

Lovely people running a very clean and friendly motel. Good value for the price. Have stayed in much higher end places where I felt less comfortable about the care taken in keeping things clean. Pleasant experience.

Aside from a carpet stain here and there and slightly rusty doors (from the ocean air), it's very clean and functional. Even has free breakfast and a tiny 'business center.' An excellent choice for a night's sleep. (Not much of a pleasure, though, but at those priices, who cares.) For it's class, it's very good.

Altogether an excellent price for a clean, comfortable room. The front desk was very friendly & helpful despite our late check in. Appreciated the spotless bathroom and comfortable bed.
